It wasent the whole axle that needed to be replaced. Only the 'spine' where the wheel turn on the axle. Pretty hard to explain when you dont know the correct words for it :)
And i dont know the price for it, as it was our local mechanic/IH maniac that fixed it for us.
Well, that can't be good on the remaining front tire, can it?

No not really. But it only did that only feeding for the cows and then it got mended.

great tractor!!! is it hard to replace the axle? its a shame such a monster tractor with e wheels only...
