@UKGHead Because they can't punch in the head, and punches only score if they move the opponent, must be too strong, so it's easier kick.

@Rnt911 I understand now. Although, it's quite annoying how people interpret these TKD videos. People think that TKD is just based on kicking, when it actually involves punching, many counter grapples and other abilities :(

Sorry guy's... I expect some of you to disagree with me. I won't look at this all the way through. Have only 4 minutes feft to finish watching. But ' ( No hand techniques), & if knocked of guard they would be rendered helpless! I admit, if you're kicked, you're sol if it's a good one, still... No respect for TKD, all practioners in this sport, ( All ) even in movies, always kick! Loved kicking when i was a kid, but close quaters, they can't fight, or know how to.

@rickames This is a competition, they have rules of does and don't. Just like Kumite and Karate. As a TKD student I do use punches and alot too. The only reason they dont use them in competitions is because you rarely get points for it.

@TheSammyM86 the reason you rarely get points for punching is because it's so easy. throwing a kick to the body or raising it high enough to the head is much more difficult. :)

realmente são de uma técnica muito atrativa a assistir ate mesmo para quem não conhece muito bem o taekwondo, pois executando com velocidade e tanta perfeição é bom de acompanhar ate o final!

The last Kick to the Head by Korea was only Valid for Two Points when it should have been Valid for Three Points, Enough to Tie the Match at 17 A Piece. Russia still had the Dominance through out the Fight though the Winner could have been Korea as well if it were not for all of those Deductions. Beautiful Fight nonetheless. TaeKwonDo ForEver!
