Quite good, no mistakes actually, but it doesn't groove at all. You're playing a tab (very well, however), but you should try to play "music", try to feel what you play

@BIGeSTRING Thanks for your comment (I guess, hahaha)... As for this particular backing music, it came with a magazine for guitarists. I normally render my own backing tracks, using MIDI files that I modify and record at home. This is just a way to avoid copyright infringement claims coming from the owners of the original recordings.

Wow, I didn't realize how rocking that bassline was. Not to mention that because you are zoomed into the left hand I was able to get much of it just from watching.

@Ionizap Yep, it happens sometimes that the bassline is somehow "buried" in the mix and it becomes hard to determine its real weigth over the final result of the song. Illsley's basslines seem to be trivial at first sight, but they usually play a significant role in the song.

The bass is an Alembic Essence made in 1991. It is a 4 string, neck-through bass. The body is made of two pieces of mahogany, covered in the front with a walnut (?) veneer; the neck is made of three pieces of maple with a walnut veneer for the headstock. The fretboard is ebony, and all the hardware is made of solid brass.

It comes with an active preamp made by Alembic.
