What do any of these drills really mean. I will give you the 40 yard dash, but outside of that. Nothing. I was a goofy looking kid and I use to light people up on defense and I had horrible feet. Football is won on the field and not in any stupid drill. The only reason why ingram went in first round was b/c he went to Alabama. If he went somewhere else nothing.
@blaaket123 not true at all. You can't just show up on a football feild and be good. It's where you get "practice makes perfect".. drills help alot. ask "real" players on how they got where they are.

@Redkonvict What I am saying is. How many times do you actually run a 40 yard dash in a game? How many times do you actually run in a straight line in a game? These drills really mean nothing. You have to watch the tape and see how they did. Ingram was good. Bud F the drills.
@blaaket123 I see where your coming from, but how else will they evaluate athletes? They have the 40 to test speed and they have drills like these and shuttle runs and 3 cones to test change of direction.
@paigerocks884 That is my point. If he went to Boise State he would mid round pic b/c people would put this stereotype of a small school around him. Andrian Peterson wasn't the first overall pick, why? I really don't know why, b/c said he was injury prone. Best raw running back in the league right now.
all the haters sayin ingrams wasnt fast enough to play in th nfl, i guess he proved em wrong when he ran a 4.45 and a 4.5 at his pro day. lol
