My great-grandfather was a prisoner at Andersonville. He was captured after taking a sabre wound to his thigh. He was one of the luck ones who survived.

A cousin was one of Doolittle's Raiders, who was also lucky enough to survive.

My father and several uncles also served in the military during World War ll

We now have a grandson serving in the Marines.

We Thank Everyone of Them!

My family has served and died in the military for 100 years now, and I can say that while I am thankful for all that have served, I really feel sorry for all of those that have died in undeclared 'wars' in the past 50 or so years thinking that they were serving their country. The fact is, the global elite are using our children as tools of profit, and I will NEVER allow my children to think about the military because of all of this. I am a veteran, and I just want to say thanks for this video tribute. It was very well done. It is unfortunate that some have sought to try and bring politics into it. For a veteran it is not about all that, it's about our nation and our families. You juxtapose images from WWII with images from Iraq. Are you saying that these two conflicts are similar? If so, that is injecting a political message into your appreciation of the troops. Tacky at best, if true. I hope this was unintentional. Also political is the beginning quote about bravery being required to go to war, but not to order men to war.
