  • Is there any way to skew a pip object in such a way that it can be viewed at a perspective?

  • Hi there, i was trying to make one PIP screen enlarge so as to take over the main screen but all i have managed to do was enlarge it slightly but it stayed in the corner it started in, it didnt move out while enlarging,,, i ended up splitting it and using the cut off to "jump to" the screen i was trying to enlarge.

Can you help with this please?

If you goto my channel and look for the video "How to get the Thunder Gun" the effect is near the end of the video, try not to laugh please.

  • @clitmint Exacty!!! all this unnecessary stuff for pip track information doesnt help.. i just want to know how to make the PIP take up the full screen.. I feel your pain thats all i want to know.. but this advanced PIP crap is pissing me off.. i rather the simple stuff first.. !! make stuff about the basic stuff, first! this vid is useless to me!

  • @H0tsizzle03 I still havent figured it out yet, i had been messing around with it for about an hour when i made that video i mentioned, and just gave up eventually, i guess the guy who is supposed to be helping is gone cos this video is kinda old now.

  • is there a way of makin an object vibrate on power director 8

  • I know how to import 1 pip, how do i import multiple pips, can i have 4 pips playing at the same time on th emain screen

  • 1:29 "Yep, it moves across" lol

  • just wondering if and when Cyberlink will include in PWR Director the clip distorsion feature found in Corel VSx2... this would be a great step up to concur as best consumer video editing software... not needed other mask nor background... you can do them yourself... needed are new creative features like the one above mentioned

  • Anytime I use PIP I can still see the border of my picture, even after changing the "intensity level" within the chromakey tab. Anyone know how to adjust the PIP to eliminate the border? It looks lame having a picture appear along with part of its border in my video. Thanks

  • On the next one, please let it be able to have multiple effect tracks, not just one. And I already know that you can place an effect on the clip that is desired to have the effect, but that takes to long if you are dealing with a lot of clips. Having like up to 5 effect tracks, even 3, would help out a bunch.

    : -)

    Please take this into consideration.

  • How do you add an effect to the pip clips? The effect doesnt show in the pip clips, only in the master track!

    Can any1 help me?

  • Drag the effect and put the effect on "top" of the desired PiP clip.

    : -)

  • But, then the whole clip will get effected?

If I want only the 2 last seconds of the clip to have the effect, how do I do that?

  • Use the key frames on the effect.

  • split the clip

  • I just started using the trial but I cannot get any thumbnails in the time-line view. I've done the scene detection but still only get a "grey bar" where the thumbs should be (all plays ok tho)

Also, when I open the multi trim window, I get no picture only sound (and as above, no thumbs to show where I am)

Anyone know what may be causing this please?

    OS is Vista BTW....

  • are you welsh. cause i cant work out what that acsent is.

  • Good guess.

  • yeah can u upgrade? cause i just bought 7

  • No Have To Buy For $80.00

  • There is another way...

  • If you bought Power Director 7 could i upgrade to 8?
