i think it depends what file you put up. at one point i instered an .avi file and it ended up sounding like deformed pixels having an orgy. make sure that your file is an .mp3 audacity supported file. If my suggestion fails, theres another reason we don't know

"Off-Vocal" Is when there's music with no vocals in a song, basically it is instrumental, most remix's are from instrumental song's, Look up some Korean/chinese/japanese songs and you'll see they have some great off vocal parts of there songs, most people would use them!
