This anime had a lot of potential but it is extremely watered down compared to the games. There's plenty of action and blood no doubt, but while the animation was top notch, the story line was weak, characters like Trish made a bare minimum appearance, while others like Virgil (one of the coolest D.M.C. characters of all) were never shown at all let alone mentioned. Instead a spoiled little girl was introduced along with somebody named Morrison to lighten up the show and give it comic relief.
