  • Makes a BIG MESS...

  • @Unlimitedrs101 You're only supposed to give it just a very small drop

  • Ok, if you are going to use flaked fish food, there is no need whatsoever to mix it with water to feed it to them like that, newborn fry are entirely capable of eating the flake food just as it comes, and depending on how many fry you have as per how much you put in with them, just the same as you do with the parents; the fish actually enjoy breaking their own food to eat it :) just like they would in the wild. :) also less chance of over feeding them and making them sick.

  • @aleiakay This video is more for those who have egg layer which are more harder to feed then livebears or cichlids. This is not only for healthy but for sick fish or if your fish are not eating the new foods that you are giving them this is one way they can taste the new food. Many fish like to bully the smaller one and usually the smaller one tend to hide and will often will not get to eat this know you the food will spread all over the tank. You can mix any foods not just flakes.

  • Ok thanks wasn't sure makes ALOT of sense someone even said throw it away every day I was like wat!!!! I just made this for my soon to be fry and now I have to throw it away!!!!

  • chemical pencil works better for smashing...

    the flake food

  • @fish4ever24 I dont use any chemical pencils or any other things that have chemicals

  • @seeyou414 it doesnt have chemicals in it its just a cooler version of a pencil like a pen

  • @seeyou414 i think he ment mechanical pencil

  • @JacobsFishtanks Thats what i was thinking also. I think YT flagged that channel as spam because I sure didn't

  • Do you refrigerate this???? And how long does it last I just made it to prep for soon to be guppy fry

  • @TWhite2345 I dont refrigerate it but if you wish you can. It can last up to 1 month or less depending on how many times you feed them.Throw it away if it start to smell very bad and very mounth make a new one.

  • Help I just had baby guppies and I don't have any food for them what do I do

  • @1997xboxgamer if you have flakes for your adult fish then just make the food very thin or small for them or make the food like have in this video.

  • if u have the peplets in grinder and make powder of it.go and buy lever boil it and dry it in sun mash it into powder this may work

  • @prajilcool I have tried that and it does work

  • i have first bites can i do the same thing

  • can i feed this to my betta frys?

  • @TheAlanmarco yes you can

  • Thank you for this video. I'm planning to raise cherry barb fry and this really helped :)

  • @redmilkk Thank you and you're welcome

  • btw this stuff smells like crap but works

  • @bv4x Thanks and i agree with the smell. The first I did it smelled so bad that I just throw it. Now you just saved your self some money

  • wow thts a lot f food u put in there lol but awesome video man!!!

  • @missdancelover1234 You only put a few drop of the food and yes I did over feed my fish. Dont use the whole cup

  • thank you so much i made it and all my 20 baby platies are eating the food i wonder why i never thought about it wish i did before buying liquid fry food from the store

  • @MegaFishlover123 You're very welcome and thank you for your nice comment. This is the same thing you get in that liquid bottle but a little different but with this you know that you will not get any harmful chemicals that they may put in those kinds of foods.

  • WHY ARE PEOPLE SO RUDE STOP!!!!!! he's just showing u how to do something so thank him!!

  • @ilovepuppies312 Thank you and can ask you where are from what city please send me a personal message.

  • omg what is this video about,, mixing fishfood with water en compress it with a spoon so the small fish can eat it .

    Every idiot understand that !!!!

    what a waste of time

  • @luukske21 Thank you for watching know you dont have to go and buy any of that Baby fish food that they sell at that the stores cause this is how they make it !

  • will it work for bigger bettas or no just asking though i have food for my bettas

  • @mrbryanzachary Yes it will work for bigger fish

  • nice video man!

  • @67kingkong Thank you

  • If the food stays in the tank too long ammonia can build up in the water which is really bad for the fish.

  • @PlecoMadness That's why you only feed it just a little and like all fish foods only feed them what they will eat in a few minutes.

  • so this works with baby bettas right??

  • @yeebthaijyaj Yes

  • @seeyou414

    alrighty than thanx

  • will this effect the tetra and the non pregnant guppy in my tank ?

  • @darkfelix21 No it should not. Before I upload any fish food videos I make alot of test with my fish what happens when if over feed, will it make them sick or other things like that. Like I said it will work for some but not for others.

  • @seeyou414 i tried it like you sed it works well with guppys but the tetras have constipation :L

  • @darkfelix21 Bellys get realy big or do they poop alot or is the poop very long

  • @darkfelix21 If some of your tetras have a small or larger belly it means they are full of eggs.

  • does this rot? cuz mine is kinda smelly

  • @joshy39769 No it should not rot if it starts to rot or smell just throw it away. If you have had it for over 2 months throw it away. What you can do is make some food every month.

  • @joshy39769 hmm mine has white things on the surface. i guess i should juz keep it in powder form.

  • @joshy39769 Just throw it away remove the white things. I think this is not for you right and go to what you were doing before this. Sorry it did not work for you.

  • can i use micro pellets and do this? my fish just gave birth today.

  • @joshy39769 Yes you can add as many different kinds of food together.

  • cool but wouldnt that blur the water?

  • @ilovepuppies312 No and yes if you feed it just a little at a time no but if you poor it just very quick it will. Only feed your fish just a little every day.

  • @seeyou414 thanks! :) you wouldnt reply that quick since this was made a year ago! lol :)

  • @ilovepuppies312 I always reply quick no matter how old or new the video is.I'm mot like alot of people who make videos and dont reply back not even to say thank you for watching the video no matter what the comment was.

  • he needs to talk

  • @KaylynRocks52 The reason that I dont speak in none of videos is that most of the people who watch my videos are either dealth cant hear or bearly speak or understand enlgish. Sorry to disapoint some of you.

  • how can u put like at 0:01 like "please read the Description" Thingy? teach me =)

  • @aljondavid ok I will send a email tomorrow ok today just checking emails.

  • @seeyou414 thanks for the help! my pregnant fish just died this morning..i think because she doesn't eat :'(

  • @aljondavid Sometimes it can just be from old age. Sorry to hear that your female died

  • @aljondavid LooooooooooL

  • @Bariskiz Iam trying to help and this is what I get

  • ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ...............

    zzZZZzzZZzzzzzzZZZ

  • @Bariskiz Thank you mean it in a good way

  • @seeyou414 lol your welcome im mean come on man look at this even my 9 year old son figured out and told me "mommy look we can mix flakes with water and feed it to the babyfish" my brine shrims didnt hatch that day for some reason.....

  • @carolo107 I did say that I takes less then a few secounds to make this. I did not have and still dont have a tri pod that is why it took me so long to make this video sorry for wasting your time.

  • looks like the diarrhea i had last night

  • @10truman Thank you for your comment and I have made much nasty looking fish food then this one.

  • i had danio fry but they didnt make it i gave them daphnia cyclops and algae i didnt really mind much though because i was culturing daphnia and cyclops in my tanks greenwater and all of a sudden there were little babies swimming around...it woulda been nice top know of this video

  • @HUsoldier171 Thank you for your comment and what happend to you did happend to me the first 2 years that I started breeding but I put this food will help you.

  • looked like u just dropped a bomb

  • @TheToanduong Thank you for your comment and one my little cousins calls it fry pudding

  • Tried it on betta fry. They do not eat them. Even when mixed with VEs. sigh

  • @reaper0325 This may or may not work for everyone or every fish and I think I said this in the video or in one of comments below. If they are not eating it then you should stop and not use it or you can try it with some other fish.

  • lol the container nearly fell

  • @reaper0325 Thank you for your comment and yeah it almost did

  • isn't this the same thing as dropping in small flakes to the tank?

  • @StrrawberryBunny Not realy but for some people it would be considered the same thing. The only thing that you are doing is making the food into a liquid form. This way your smaller tiny fry will not have trouble eating the flake foods and have less uneaten flake foods on the bottom of the tank.

  • oh man this entire time I've been doing it the hard way. This is so much easier thank you. ^_^

  • @drawingsmydrug You're welcome

  • cool...i might try it with my baby betta fry's.. its hard to get cultures of micro-worms and vinegar eels in my country and even harder to get brine shrimp eggs with hatch rates(poor condition of keeping in the shops)i'll try this or infusorian and egg yolk in liquid :)

  • @ca5566 Good luck and please tell me if it did work for you and I know how hard it is for alot of people even my self to find fish food for babies.

  • nice.. ok i will try it ... ^_^

  • I want a to breed small fishes that i can use as feeders for my eel and a predator fish that only eat small fishes... What fish do suggest i should breed? i can breed cichlids like jack dempseys and guppys but i want to breed something like tetras but if u know any other fish that i can breed that isnt to hard plz send me a message.

  • @TheFishKeeper100 The only onces that are very easy are all livebears like guppies, mollies and your try the convict cichlids other than that tetras are semi hard. Other fish that are very easy to breed are the zebra dainos.

  • good food i will try it

  • @hihaaf3 Please remember to feed very little of the food and please tell me if it did work for you

  • @seeyou414 it work's good i got some small angelfish and i feed them in that way for 3 weeks now they eat hole flaks with my other fish

  • @hihaaf3 Good to hear that and just to let you know I will upload very soon another homemade vacation/ weekend fish food.

  • i only used crushed flakes for baby fry's when my guppys/jack dempsey cichlids were fry's they grow up whit each other for abit but the jack dempseys grew faster then the guppys did the guppys was tiny for like 2-3 months and the jack dempseys grew fast and ate them so i gave up whit the breeding guppy thing and threw the guppy parents to the piranhas, patient isnt my thing.

  • @TheFishKeeper100 Cichlids no matter what kind of family you have will grow much faster than any other family that is not in the cichlid family.

  • thank you and my guppies thank you to

  • @jesseleonard12345 You're welcome and more fish videos and other info comming soon

  • speechlesssssss..........

  • @francewen4ever Thank you for comment

  • ITS GOOD I GIVE IT NOW TO MY FRY TOO :D

  • @gijmeentda So It did work for you good.

  • will this work for neon tetra fry?

  • @seeyou414 can you feed them egg yolk?how to make the egg yolf into liquid?

  • @9912699125 I did that once and smell was so bad that I throw away. Let me check in one my notebooks and see if i still have it on how you can do that/

  • @seeyou414 k,tkx, asap pls,i feed my guppy fry yolk but i just throw them in and sqeeze them

  • @9912699125 Sorry to giv e you some bad news but I dont have the paper where I had on how to make the egg yolk into liquid. Will try to make it again.

  • @seeyou414 oh...so can you make a video when you make it?

  • @9912699125 I can and will try if I can remember how to make it

  • where do u store this when your done?

  • @ak74u2 I keep it with the rest of fish foods. I dont keep it in the freezer or anykind of cooler. I just keep in room tempature when I see the food getting dry I poor a little water. Also what you can do if it drys is only add water when you are ready to find them.

  • @seeyou414 ok thnx

  • @seeyou414 it almost make me vomit....stinks ,isnt it?

  • @9912699125 I have gotten used to it but at frist yes .

  • @seeyou414 maybe bcause mine is powder food tats why it is so smelly

  • @9912699125 That may be the reason for the bad smell

  • i do this aswell !

  • This is how you cloud your fishes water; why do all of this if you can just scrunch up the flakes and put them in? Waste of 10mins!!!

  • @afroballer Did you read what I said in the video and on the comment on the side. You only add a little drop and I did say that I add to much. If you add to much yes it cloud your tank. I dont have a tri-pod that is why it took my so long but to make this food it should take less then a miunte. This video is mainly for eggs layers which are sometimes hard to feed. Also this way all fish will get to at least eat.

  • can i make this with goldfish flakes and feed it to my variable platys?in mybreeding box?

  • @bangalikid If you dont have any tropical fish food yes. Many may dissagree with me but yes and I would do it if I did not have any other kind of food.

  • @seeyou414 kk thnx

  • Can betta fry eat them too?

  • @LilShortAznKiddo Yes they can

  • @seeyou414 Oh ok. Thanks for replying.

  • this is something most discusting i've ever seen ..

  • @TikiDaKewlest When I frist made this not the video but the food I said the same thing. But I have seen worse things than this. Thank you for watching

  • the best way to make fry food is with a mortar and pestle the marble one the best way to crush food all my fry survived

  • @moeycuz I have many ways to feed and make fry food and I also feed and make some foods like you do. This video is just one of them and also this liquid kind of food is more for the eggs layers than livebearss. You can crush the food for livebears but with eggs layers you can but you will have alot of uneaten foods.

  • hey seeyou...i got few question...can i move the betta fry which is about less than 1 cm..i dont really know about the age but maybe 2 months to a newly setup tank?and i wanted to use nitrate minus to my currently betta fry tank cause the tank is full of bluegreen moss..is it safe for the fry?

  • 1 I would put another fish frist and see how it does before you put in the fry. If you have alot fry and you want to see if they will survive then it will be up to you and add 2 fry. 2 I dont and have never use any nitrate minus or anything like in my tanks. The only time that I use any medication is when I clean my tanks and thats every month.

  • I realy dont know if putting the fry in with nitrate minus is safe.

  • how bout putting them to a new tank?

  • Yes you can add this food to any new or old tank

  • @DemonDrug95 Not really safe for the fry. I did that once and they all died lol. My mistake, but you know what? It was my first time haha. I've bred oscars, tropical fish basically and some types of minnows. =) It's easy after the first 2 breeds you do.

  • @ChEnGsTaRz Sorry for your loose that happend to me also when I first did this food and my main mistake was that I over feed them. Maybe that is why you lost your fish. Yes I agree with you once you breed one or twon fish it comes easy to breed other fish. Right now iam making a weekend fish food and a new and better baby fish food.

  • I think you need to add less water. That liquid will make it all dirty

  • Yes this liquid food if given alot will make your tank look dirty that is why you should give your fish just a little not alot. If you wish to add less water that is ok but once it drys you will need to add more water.

  • seeyou, theyre swimming around and im feeding them twice a day but is there anything else i need to know about rearing them ty.

  • If you plan to move them to another tank make sure you put the same water in that tank. To get almost all them feed them in one spot for a few days. To remove them please see my videos I have one that is on transporting livebears which you can do the same thing with eggs layers and much safer.

  • @seeyou414 is it safe to put baby fry into a glass jar?????

are you sure they will eat this???

    i have three pregnant fish!!!

    any advice would help!!!

    -jlrsmiles

  • 1 Yes they will eat it and you can add different foods. 2 The only babies that I put on jars are male bettas but other fish I have never. Will it be safe yes if you clean the jars good like you would if you were just like a new tank. What kind of fish you ?

  • If you have livebears like guppies and mollies remove them to another tank before they give birth . If you dont have another tank just add more plants make sure some float. If you have eggs layers same but them in another before the spawn or breed in the main tank. If you dont put a divider for both egg layers and livebears. If you will be putting them in another add same water from main tank.

  • I know I got the song and have been meaning to change it

  • ive got white cloud minnows and theyve just layed eggs and ive read that the fry cant even eat newly hatched brine shrimp so i was wondering if this would work for them aswell.

  • Dont feed them anykind of foods right now. Only once they have eaten their egg yolk which will under the belly area and are starting or are free swimming you should feed them anyking of food. This will work with your fry because it is a liquid food.

  • thanks, a few have started to hatch and are sticking close to the plants so i cant see them that well.

  • At this stage they wont move at all or very little. What you can do to see the fry is tunring off the light and use a flashlight if you have one.

  • @seeyou414 hey can i put cories inside my betta fry tank??cause theres mosquito larvae

    :D

  • I dont know I have never put any cories with betta fry but have with other egg laying fry such as neons, zebra danios and they do ok with fry so you might put one in and see what happends. To be on the safe side just remove the mosquito larve right away.

  • @seeyou414 oh ok...and should i turn on the filter??now cause i dint on the filter since they was born..it was born at 28 dec..i think

  • Yes turn on the filter this will also help kill your mosquito larvae

  • @seeyou414 erm are they strong enuf to swim aganist the current?

  • If they are free swimming all around the tank some will be strong and other wont be. Just add some floatting plants where the strong current is. Only add the filter for a short time every day.

  • @seeyou414 thx m8

  • i can now see them more clearly because they are sticking to the glass now but theyre still too small to see if theyve eaten their yolk sack or not so ive left them there and ive counted 4 of them

  • That is a good sign when you see them sticking to the glass that means that In a few days they will start swimming or they have already start learning to swim and have eaten their egg yolk. Should wait once you see them swimming then feed them or if you wish you can add very little food just incase they starting to swim.

  • ok ty

  • wow..just wondering how much should i feed them ever each other day...and...my..my...my...betta frys are....so CUTE!!!this works very good...thx man wish can double sub u XD

  • Feed them the same amount of food. If you want to feed them every day reduce the amount of food you give them everyday. If you give them 2 or 3 drops everyday just add 2 drops that day and add the one drop the next day or add a drop every day

  • THX...master...xD

  • can this work on betta fry cause i got some betta baby!

  • Yes this will work very good with all babies even Bett.

  • @seeyou414 hey erm...i just did the stuff and....they doesn't seem to be eating it cause it looks like they are immobile unless i touch the water...xDthey are free swimming rite now pls reply...thx seeyou414

  • If you have feed them with this stuff stop feeding them. Wait about 2 more days before feeding them again. When you see one near the glass look very close and you will see them eat.

  • it makes the water dirty but i mite try it

  • Yes it will get your water dirfy if you over feed them which happend to me in this video. If your tank is under 10 galloons just a 1 to 2 tiny drops over 10 galloons just add a little more

  • Thanks this helped alot since i dont live near a pet store. Also how do you recomend feed this to betta fry that are in a 10 gallon tank and spread all over and are not just in one spot?

  • You're welcome and yes I recomend feeding this to anykind of fry you may have. Just a 1 or 2 very tiny drops and this food since it is liquid it will spread all over the tank. If it does not spread with a spoon or anything you have just mix it.

  • Can you use this when you are preparing a female for spawning?

  • Yes you can and this will help her during feeding if with other fish. Since most females get so fat that they wont move so fast and often dont eat alot because of the other fish beating her to the food. This food spreads all over thank and she will a better chance of getting alot more food.

  • can i feed new born betta fry with this?

  • Yes you can just make sure not to over do it with the drops because it will get very messy.
