i had to do the music in four separate chunks, recorded them all, combined them, looped a dozen or so times and dubbed the result on to a video of the game recorded with hypercam. i cheated, essentially 8)
you could use a minijack-to-minijack cable between the gameboy's headphone port and computer's soundcard line-in. it's just less convenient that way. i could have done this, as i've got a gameboy camera, but instead i used KiGB with a ROM.
