  • ty my little bro said 22 degrees

  • If it's high performance it more than likely has much higher compression, thus not needing as much timing.

  • Did you check to see if your getting spark from the coil?

  • i was wondering if you can asnswer my ?? i have an 86 that use to be efi and was converted to carb well they still has the tfi distribtur in it and ran fine for a year that i had it well all of a sudden it lost spark so i just changed the distribtuer to one that has pretronix in and my car still has no spark can u tell me if u ran into this problem before???

  • 15 degrees is to much 12 degrees is best

  • @tinahiheels Performance motor. needs more advanced timing than 12..

  • Sometime 12 degrees but most of the street performance engines for the small block Fords like 15 degrees.
