i was wondering if you can asnswer my ?? i have an 86 that use to be efi and was converted to carb well they still has the tfi distribtur in it and ran fine for a year that i had it well all of a sudden it lost spark so i just changed the distribtuer to one that has pretronix in and my car still has no spark can u tell me if u ran into this problem before???

If it's high performance it more than likely has much higher compression, thus not needing as much timing.

15 degrees is to much 12 degrees is best

Sometime 12 degrees but most of the street performance engines for the small block Fords like 15 degrees.
