After hearing Charice sing the national anthem, whether it be love Brazil and Brazilian, this hymn was wanted of my nation. Incredible, spectacular that little remarkable, called Charice!.

I love the national anthem of U.S.A..Because Charice showed me the beauty of the anthem by her singing.
When I listened to the anthem by Charice,I was impressed deeply by her vocal which was strong and beautiful and I could understand the dignity of lyrics.
I was so surprised by this phenomenon.Because I am Japanese. I've never been interest in the national anthem of other countries even if famous singers sang.
She has the great talent which I've never experience.

Ladies and gentlemen, Joe Torre who was standing right next to said that her singing brought tears to his eyes and that it was the best that he ever heard. He wouldn't have said that if she wasn't actually singing it. The only way you would know is if you were there standing right next to her. She is AMAZING, she Passionate when she sings and She is one of the Top female singers in the world. that is why she at 16 yrs old was invited to sing our National Anthem at the opening game.

@kaiyno That's because light travels faster that sound. In case you didn't notice she's singing in an OUTDOOR stadium so resonance is at work and is more emphasized at the end. She adverse to lip syncing as she's used to live performances having competed at least once a month from aged 7 to 13. That's 84+ singing contests; can't lip-sync in any of those. His actual voice can be heard first and then the much louder echo from the speakers followed a split second later. I can't vouch for the other performances quality of sound system, but this one seemed to have that delay.

For me, Charice is legendary already even though many don't consider her that, she has an amazing voice and she's bound to become a huge legendary vocalist/singer, I like her a lot, BUT that doesn't mean I'm not going to point out when she lipsyncs or when she has some other vocal flaw. It all depends on where the recording mic is located. michael bolton messed up his live performance because of sound delay of stadium. check that out too.

RoGumbl. Pls check your Philippine history. Spain ceded the Philippines to the US for 3M dollars and not 10M dollars. Also, the Philippines was granted independence by the US in 1935 which is before WWII. The US declared war against Japan after the latter attacked Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 and it was only after this date that the US got truly involved in WWII. The Philippines opted independence. Puerto Rico on the other hand was a free nation when it opted to become a commonwealth.

The Philippines is like a protege of the USA. They paid for it with $10 million dollars after they defeated the Spanish in the late 1800's. It became a commonwealth nation of the USA with its own president. It became an independent nation after WW II with some kind of dependency to the USA. I guess, the USA did not really want it and have too many Filipinos becoming US citizens (unlike Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa); they even tried to pay for them to go home. So sort of American-ized.
What a shame that quite many previous American-born singers that had the privilege of singing the national anthem went on to screw with the song either by forgetting the lyrics or modifying the melody so much that it downright sucked. One instance was Christina Aguilera at the 2011 NBA All-Star game.
Here, we have a Filipina, who's not even an American citizen, singing our own anthem better than 99.9 percent of all her predecessors without messing up the lyrics. Charice is INCREDIBLE!!!

MAJOR FAIL, the announcer is in perfect tune with his voice and his lips, stop making idiotic excuses for Charice, I'm not saying it's bad she lipsynched, but she evidently did, and maybe it wasn't her choice, maybe she had to because of rules, so quit nagging, Charice is amazing no matter what.

@kaiyno So, you can't believe it huh? You got used to listening & watching lip-synched SSB's that you can't tell the difference! Yes, she is super-amazing, better than your idols. Both baseball teams acknowledged her singing unlike Aguilera where football players were like short of cursing her; I read it in Yahoo! News early this year after Super Bowl XLV. Wear your glasses and buy a high-end laptop/headsets so that you can see/hear the announcer, and donate your 10-year old laptop to Goodwill.

@SaTrinomaNagkita LMAO Carrie Underwood & Aguilera are the only two artists that I know that NEVER lipsync the NA, and both their Super Bowl performance wasn't lipsynched, 100% authentic live and this issue about "light travels faster that sound" has NEVER happened. Maybe Charice needs a bit more practice with her lipsyncs, because for Houston or Carey, they did a very good job hiding their lipsync performance at the SB.
BTW, Charice copies Aguilera too much, so who's better?..................

First you say you "have no evidence of this"... then you make the brash (and incorrect) statement above. Whatsa matter... not getting the support you expected for your Agulera vs Charice "Run to you" video??
But even if it were a lipsync (and it's not)... it's HER voice... and damn fine too! I totally agree with sexodus69's comment above!

@kaiyno :] please listen to the speaker while he was introducing Charice @ 0:35 to 0:40. His actual voice can be heard first and then the much louder echo from the speakers followed a split second later. I can't vouch for the other performances quality of sound system, but this one seemed to have that delay.
By the way, you sure visit this video a lot for someone who thinks this is a lipsynched performance. I'm sure Charice appreciates the support. ;]

@JeSuisLierre That guy is in tune and there's no delay at all or a louder echo, didn't appreciate anything strange other than Charice's evident lipsync.
For me, Charice is legendary already even though many don't consider her that, she has an amazing voice and she's bound to become a huge legendary vocalist/singer, I like her a lot, BUT that doesn't mean I'm not going to point out when she lipsyncs or when she has some other vocal flaw. That she lipsynched isn't a serious thing.

@kaiyno watch the tv version of this, not camcorder. the audio has no sound delay on tv versions because it is hard wired to the mixer/mic. she is not lipping this. It all depends on where the recording mic is located. michael bolton messed up his live performance because of sound delay of stadium. check that out too.

@kaiyno Yes Aguilera didn't lip sync. She also messed the melody AND lyrics of the anthem in last year's Super Bowl XLV. Some football players in that game went on record that Aguilera messed it up.

Also, the Philippines was granted independence by the US in 1935 which is before WWII. The US declared war against Japan after the latter attacked Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 and it was only after this date that the US got truly involved in WWII. The Philippines opted independence. Puerto Rico on the other hand was a free nation when it opted to become a commonwealth.

The Philippines is like a protege of the USA. They paid for it with $10 million dollars after they defeated the Spanish in the late 1800's. It became a commonwealth nation of the USA with its own president. It became an independent nation after WW II with some kind of dependency to the USA. I guess, the USA did not really want it and have too many Filipinos becoming US citizens (unlike Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa); they even tried to pay for them to go home. So sort of American-ized.

What a shame that quite many previous American-born singers that had the privilege of singing the national anthem went on to screw with the song either by forgetting the lyrics or modifying the melody so much that it downright sucked. One instance was Christina Aguilera at the 2011 NBA All-Star game.
Here, we have a Filipina, who's not even an American citizen, singing our own anthem better than 99.9 percent of all her predecessors without messing up the lyrics. Charice is INCREDIBLE!!!
