  • pas terrible en plus normalement c'est beaucoup plus rapide

  • WOW!!! All that beautiful sound coming from a little girl. Hard intervals as well.

  • I used to play like that, with MP placement way off to the side of my lips. I had all kinds of problems with endurance and range. Placement should be closer to the center, doesn't have to be dead center but the extreme side embouchure is a weak one IMHO.

  • damn...this is similar to how i play too. glad to know im not alone

  • quit criticizing the mouthpiece, what sounds good sounds good

  • she's playing off to the right, because her parents wacked her in the mouth+_+

  • she's very good-- has great tone... even with braces! It's peculiar how she doesn't play with the mouthpiece in the center of her lips! : )

  • お上手ですねー 将来が楽しみですね

  • so shes playing this with braces on? :o

    damn that hurts

  • Asians don't understand that not everyone has to be accomplished by the age of 12... Of course she has talent, but this could be damaging to that girl's teeth and could make bad habits that she will never overcome. This isn't the piano or violin, you don't just move your fingers. There are no 6 year old trumpet prodigies for a reason, it is physically not a good idea.

  • If she's playing correctly then her teeth wont be in pain.

  • That's where you're wrong, Maynard was great at 6 years old.

  • @Generic1987 wow, you are so wrong.

  • She's pretty good. She's got nice tone, though her embochure is way off.

Move the mouthpeice to the middle of her lips and a bit of practice with keeping a steady tone and she'll be great. =)

  • @LordoftheDuh Where they're most comfortable where the mouthpiece is at What Matter's (:

Maynard Played a little of to the Right Also

    Just Saying.

  • @LordoftheDuh I know many a great trumpeter who play to the side.

  • shes good but that shows u how much they work for it there o.O

  • damn she's just damn that's good.

  • that girl berry cute

    i want to live!!!!

  • You play werry good but you should take care

how do you put your mouthpiece,it has to be in middle or it can cause problems if you put it aside

  • this girl is precious.

    that was SO GOOD

  • What is the pianist's name? This is a big and difficult piano part and the pianist should be equally aknowledged!! Otherwise very good.

  • thats a GREAT trumpet player...

...or should I say an EXCELLENT trumpet player!!!!!

  • Where is his mouthpiece?? his teacher is a criminal...but she is a very goog trumpet player!

  • IO hate it when plp have to correct plp's mouthpiece at such an age. PLaying the trumpet at that age shoould just be for fun not competiveitely...

  • if you dont do it early then it would be near impossible to do when theyre older and they would be stuck with a mis developed embochure for the rest of their lives

  • yeah I play off to the side and I've been playing for 12 years w/ no problems. BRAVO!

  • i bet your mom tells you your playing is the best shes ever heard too huh? lmao

  • You wish your sound could come close to her emptying the spit.

  • muito bom...

  • playing offf to the side tht badly will cause major problems...

  • Possibly, not necessarily. It's impossible to judge if the closest you have gotten to her is watching one crappy clip on YouTube. Physiology is VERY important.

Don't despair! Get a good teacher.

  • oh wow shes good for having braces. i've got braces and i've learned how to play with them, and yea, i know its weird, but i've had them for all 4 years i've been playing the trumpet. i'm going to be a wreck when i get them off. shes really good though. congrats on that :)

  • trumpet is such a demanding instrument for intonation, very good she is.

  • wow her tones almost as good as mine and i'm 15 wth

  • wow. she's got great tone for such a youg player. she will be great when she gets to mature.

i just can't find an answer to how she can play like that on the side of her mouth...

  • well its commonly used

    for higher notes

    alot of ppl do it

hell i started doin it after i got off tuba in 7th grade cuz i couldnt get to the notes i use to hit

and now its just apart of me..

  • Brava!

  • She does a GREAT JOB, especially considering that she's wearing braces on her teeth. I remember kids TRYING to play their trumpets in middle school with braces, and it was VERY DIFFICULT. I also like the pianist. Maybe I would've continued with piano lessons if my piano teacher were as pretty. :-)

  • WOW.........impressive!!!

  • really nice tone coming from a 11 yr old girl =)

  • shes good even tho the notes aren't

that high, but her tone is really

    good for someone her age.

  • she plays on the side of her mouth.

  • and its very effortless. i gotta squeeze myself to get to those high notes. good stuff

  • So, from the info, "She is wearing the correction apparatuses of teeth." Is that like a literal translation for braces or something? haha. She's really good though, I think that if she keeps at it I might need to increase my practicing.

  • i used to like the 2nd movment of this sonata till i herd this rendition i no she is young but she should have quit wen she was a head after playing the 1st movement

  • im am kind of concerned about her playing a little off to the left, mouthpiece wise...

but they say that the masters have thier own unique trademark, good work and tone, girl!

  • Dude, where she get that type of tone?????

  • wow ,that is really amazing ,frakin japanese

  • Really wonderful at such a young age! When the braces come off it will be an adjustment, and that will be a good time to center that embochure a little bit.

  • why is the mouthpiece like all the way to one side of her face?

  • because of the teeths

  • There are several possible reasons for this - here's the most common: often, when one first picks up a trumpet, the instinct is to see the bell directly in front of one's face. In fact, due to the design of the instrument, the bell should be positioned slightly to the left of what feels natural. Thus, most trumpet players tend to position the mouthpiece and form the embouchure slightly to the right of where it should be. Doesn't she sound great, though?

  • ha i do that too... and i dont have braces. bad habit i suppose.

  • 素晴らしい!!

    これからも楽しんで吹き続けて欲しいです!

  • Makes me feel ,I have wasted my life

Jean Hubeau you are unbelievable amazing excellent beyond my comprension at such a young age You are a great Ambassador to your country

  • the piece is called Jean Hubeau not the girl... : )) but you right concerning her talent!

  • This song is playing my friend that is 18 years old. Great job!

  • Great job !!

  • Great sound, great intonation. As a player with a little experience, I suggest you try to shift your embouchure to middle of your lips. You're going to be a star!

  • The off-center placement may have somethng to do with the fact that she's wearing braces.

    Amazing for an 11-year-old, regardless!

At 11 I couldn't even blow my nose!

  • I wish I had played that well at 11! Great job!

  • This is an excellent job! Keep up the good work!
