  • With respect I have a question:

    Will you cover 3 nails?

It is my understanding that Master WC3 stresses this as the true source of power generation. Perhaps a wider angle will permit better observation and understanding of 3nails?

  • you mislead everybody your doing yang style not chen style

  • it IS yang style, his teacher's name is william chen, but he teaches yang style. It's not william's fault that his family name is Chen! google william cc chen, you'll see.

  • @jaccwas1 this form is actually william cc chen's modification of the yang style he learned from chen man ching. but it can be confused with the older, awesome chen style

  • You have a lot of heart.

Make your hands alive, and utilize more Peng throughout.

    Nice root.

  • Yep, good grounding, very relaxed, but still a bit much shoulder movement for a CMC based form. Love it though.

  • I haven't seen Rudy before, but it looks like he's really got it. He stays rooted, he's moving with the energy. William Chen is a fine teacher and looks like Rudy is too. This is one of the few Tai Chi clips here, along with original Chen Man Ching that I found, that I am keeping in favorites, in order to study back up on short form.

  • Thank you Shifu for posting. I learned this form from Shifu Suarez.

  • he reminds me alot of my sifu that salt of the earth style of teaching
