Huckabee has forced the media to pay attention to him, the only two that gave him a fair shot was Glenn Beck and Chris Wallace.
He did this with grassroots support. Not the kind that spams you tube, crashes online polls, and smalltime straw polls. He has the kind of support that wins the Ames, FRC, and scientific polling. It is the grassroots support that will win him the primaries and help him beat Hillary in 08.

You have great poll numbers because the media prompted you up as "the" dark horse. It all started when Bill Clinton and Newt said you are the dark horse, and everyone else pilled on. Then you started to live in Iowa, preaching your pastor words. Every other state you are in single digits.

Actually, the media ignored him despite his being the candidate with the most experiance in the race for either party, for about nine months. He got attention because of the grassroots movement in Iowa supporting him big in Ames, his victories in the debates, and last of all because of Chuck Norris :)
Brownback was painted as the Dark horse... just because you are unfamiliar with the political happenings does not give you and excuse to be so inaccurate in your analysis.

That is not an inaccuracy. I've been following it all year. He got 2nd because of the FairTax bus and support. Still, he was still not talked about as much until Bill Clinton and Newt endorsed his darkhorse status, and it boomed even though his polls were down. And then his polls started to rise because they talked about him.
And I'd rather not have experience of raising taxes, giving amnesty, or having a draft for another war.
