What can I say... Alfie Zappacosta is so talented and what an amazing voice. What a beautiful song. I remember it from the 80's and he's still just as beautiful now, as he was then. A great vocalist. I absolutely love this video, he looks so happy and carefree. Stay singing Alfie, we love you!!!
I had the one in a lifetime opportunity and got up to do some back up vocals here in Sault Ste. Marie at the Vic. I was with his 3rd cousin at the time. What a great experience it was. My kids have his eyebrows. LOL.
He plays here in Halifax a couple of times a year at a neat club called Stayner's. He sat with my wife and I after his show. A great talent and a genuinely nice guy.
I`m slightyly ashamed that I had forgotten about Zappacosta until I saw this video on here. Great song and a great voice! Takes me back to my late teen years.
i love him,,,i love the cap he could sing a medical diagnosis & make it sound like poetry,,,,,,,,,damn underrated one of canadas best,,DOES anyone know where he is or what he is doing?
Awesome, great guy, I know him personally from the Cue Club in Edmonton. My wife worked there as a waitress and he was a regular patron. A finer man would be hard to find and yes we all have our problems with different things in life but on the upside we somehow get through the shit that we not only dealt ourselves but the faction of being who you are claimed to be also steps up to the plate.
This guy can sing like you would not believe. If you get the chance go see him!
I grew up with this music! I have the Canadian Golden Various cassette... Gosh.. and i was born in the late 80s... this was my family travel music... great times
@TheSluhound why do people try to impress strangers do desperately? Honestly, these comments should be on Facebook to your friends; we don't know you so we can't really be certain you're telling the truth and they really don"t mean much to people on the net - I say this honestly, without hate, anger or spite
memories of junior high school andf then watching Danger bay on cbc i saw the episode when alfie zappacosta debuted this song and video and omg i had my first crush on him! I'm seeing him on the 28th at Stayner's wharf in Halifax .. omg i'm soo gonna freak:)

Saw him on Saturday evening. Terrific performance and a first class entertainer, engaging with the audience in a way many artists should try to do.
