This game was totally fun.. just wished they would make a part two but more demon humaned like enimies rather than fighting spiders and birds and at least make the forsaken soliders more smarter and hardcore fighters so you can get the full bujingai experience with cool combo attacks.. and countering and also dodgeing

the English version kinda frigs up the tutorial videos when it shows you how to get style points.

it says press the buttons at the right time but all you have to do is hold square after one of the many combos you do.

I thought this game was okay. The fights were sweet for the first 2 hours then got real stale. The boss fights were interesting to say the least. I lol'd when the teacher said "Now go Lau. Go and FIGHT!"

Ug. This game suuucked. The only copy I ever saw was in a blockbuster like 5 yrs. ago. I was unfortunate enough to get it and was very dissapointed. You run around and button mash what few enemies there are until the end credits. Even the final boss can be button mashed to death. And you can't even hit the enemies when you knock them down. Plus the main character is so gay you expect his catchphrase to be "FAAAAABULOUS!"

I just started watching this, is this the sort of game when you can mash a couple of buttons and it does some sort of animation sequence were you kick the guys ass?

Mashing square uses the basic combo. Triangle uses the spin attack. While in the middle of a combo, pressing triangle allows you to initiate a special attack using any of the face buttons.

For example, square -> triangle -> circle would hit them once, use the combo link, then immediately cast magic.

If that's what you mean.

Sorta. I mean like the special combos for Bleach Blade Battlers, where they go into a badass sequence and compltely destroy the enemy. :D Im so bloodthirsty.

The closest thing is Clashing; where it goes into a cinematic view, with a lot of special effects and such. That happens when your attacks are blocked/you block an attack, it's a type of counter system, you could say.
