The Singapore Airlines is the one of its new Airbus A330-300 and can also land the Airbus A380. Not a problem as the Airport of Nagoya is A380 proven.

Still...If I was mr. Mayo I wasn't going to be so happy if I saw that! There are those static dischargers on the rear of them, they might be knocked off... A few months ago a UAL 767 got sprayed by accident with the fire hose in a hangar that was just refitted with a new interior, ruptured windows and destroyed the entire brand new interior, even instruments in the flight deck! Google it! Amazing!

Already up to G. pretty soon bye bye 777-200. I flew on 2 of the new SIA 330's going to Changi and return to Adelaide, didnt get the first ones rego but the last flight coming home was in 9V-STB. SIA have made a good choice going for the

A330-300 for the short route's very smooth ride.

The primary reason for SIA opting for the A330-300 was a compensation from Airbus for the A380 delays, replace the older 777-200's (del. 1997 etc.) and the A333 has excellent operating economics over the derated 777 fleet. Not all 777's will go though! It's a golden deal, thats for sure! If I am not mistaken they all lease them till the 787 arrive.
