I'll bet you....before Michigan schedules another early season game with a team from North Carolina.....they'll first look to see if the Kiss O' Death is hiding under it. Ever since that blocked field goal, Michigan's life on the gridiron has been a living hell. All of those Div 1-AA titles Appalachian won should have told them something, but they allowed their arrogance and overconfidence to cloud their judgement.

this is a very underrated team who could beat many d-1 top ranked team every saturday. michigan did not have an answer to that type of spread offense or the speed, and definately the speed and adgility of that defense. im a big fan of 1-aa ball YSU is 1st and appi state is 2nd. i just hope that this sends a message to the big boys that those little dogs bite not just bark!!!!!!

Granted, no legitimate top 10 D-1 team should lose to a FCS team, but to say that losing to App State, the 3-time FCS national champion, is a disgrace is an insult to App State.

App State could beat A LOT of D-1 teams, and would probably give all but a handful of them a tight game. Maybe they wouldn't win, but the D-1 school would know they were in it.

After this, the D-1 school sure wouldn't look at them as a cupcake, that's for sure.

It clearly shows that we need a playoff in division 1A. All the bullshit of all the schools from the big ten to the ACC isnt as anymore. As many teams that play in crapping ass bowl games such as the independence bowl that is enough to make a playoff. If every sport in college has one why not division 1A football? It is not like that the majority of the larger schools players are any good anyway. majority of players that go pro is from Division 1AA or smaller division 1A conferences.
