@Fenrir130 you have some good points, but Canada's abundant natural resources (minerals and oil) along with destructive policies by US lawmakers helped Cdn economy become way better than the US. Only 15 years ago when oil was $40/barrel & metals were cheap the US economy was way better than Canada, and Cdn dollar worth only 60 cents US (now its $1.03). The US is in such a mess now because of stupid GWBush's war in Iraq, unregulated financial system and oil prices over $80 a barrel.

America has the largest gap between the rich and the poor in the industrialized world, and practically no safety net for those who fall between the cracks. It's perfectly fine that you guys should want to follow the ideas laid out in the constitution, I'm a canuck and I still find them quite inspiring, but you shouldn't deny the inequalities of modern corporate america.

Also, ppl bitching about the Gov't or "Corporate Amrerica" (which I find to be a cop out) haven't done anything to help themselves. I live on Gov't checks, food assistance, Medicade, etc. I'm doing just fine. If u fall between the cracks, it's your fault. The Gov't can't spoon feed you, nor can they put you on the food assistance line.
