@EatDeathBerry A normal hand can stretch for an octave with some difficulty, at 2:12 you need some extra effort and practice to be able to do that, but it's definetely possible.

@dan20071 actually, the two notes in that chord are 11 notes apart (if on key), which is nearly impossible for even professional pianists. The largest chord most people can do is a 10th, and even that's really difficult

It took me one day to learn it slowly. I played for 4 hours just to get the left hand flowing. Then in the next days i got it at the right speed. :) Just believe in yourself and practise, practise, practise......

@EatDeathBerry no, only 2 people or machines, though when people play it, they tend to use the pedal in order to help it. Like say, you would play one note then jump quickly to the other but holding the pedal. So in fact it sounds as if both of them are being played. Hope that answered your question :)

@BaileyAwesomeSmile Hey, you just have to keep practicing. The main goal here is to get your left hand to repeat those patterns mechanically, without even watching it. Then you can just focus on the right hand, which is always the main song or melody. You should be able to completely ignore your left hand when the movements get imprinted to your memory.

To clarify, on 2:14, does that mean the right hand plays high E# and low B flat? If so, when I try to play it like that, I can't stretch my fingers enough to play it like that, so I'm not sure if I saw the video wrong or something. Don't get me wrong, I like this tutorial, but this is the only problem I have.

@Catarosl I'm sorry, it was a mistake on my part when I was editing the midi. You're right, it's extremely difficult to stretch your hand so far out, so you can just discard that Bb and only play the D# with your right hand.
