  • wow, beautiful. do you learn at a music school? it is beautifully played, very special.

  • @hela99 aw thanks, yes I graduated 8 grades with the ABRSM :-)

  • As a linguist and head teacher of the University of Languages I didn't know that being cool means perversion and lack of tact and taste. In fact, this video is for people of refined style and culture. Anyway...

I want to express my gratitude for support my daughter got from this video for her exam. Thanx so much!!!

  • This video really blows my mind!!! SOS!)

  • How many times have I watched this video...hm...one hundred? two hundred times?...) To say that it is gorgeous is to say nothing... The music itself, your gestures, the way You enjoy it...all taken together impress greatly! I want to return more and more and more... And is there a need to say once again that it is sexy?...)) The piece is the thing everyone should learn to play before he dies! Thank You very much!!!!

  • @Sabinabest1 thank you Sabina! :)) That's very kind of you x

  • This was my second or third Chopin Nocturne I learned long ago, and is still one of my favorites of his. Well-played. Beautiful! :)

  • @ullerichj: thank you :)

  • beautifully played, not what i expected from the way you were dressed haha but you have earned my respect

  • very good... congratulations, hard sheet

  • one of my favorite nocturnos!!

  • that's pretty damn good!

  • Very heartfelt, When I heard this song I instantly knew it was something I had to play. How long have you been playing the piano? I really enjoy listening to your recording, it helps me learn the piece better.

  • @niamcklumzy: Lovely! I played the piano seriously for about 3 years. 'Twas great! Have fun with your practising!

  • I fall in love with this song while playing Phantom Dust on Xbox Video game. Goods Job Man Keep Playing,

  • I'm really struggling with the runs in this piece, so I occasionally listen to it online to get my courage up. Your vid helps! I think that people call this a "song" because of its intense lyricism. It's just such an inward-looking night tune that people can't help but call it a song--after all, Chopin could be pretty high and mighty, imposing all those trills on us! This piece is a true "song"--it makes you close your eyes and dream--so we overuse the word.

  • Glad to hear my vid helps! :)

  • The runs are so difficult to get right, they're hard to read even.

  • NIce interpretation! Did you/are you going to college for piano?

  • very nice bro

  • Thanks!

  • wow, that was a very even tempered performance....not too slow or too fast at any given time.

    perfect

  • Glad you enjoyed it! :)

  • thanks again for the upload. I've listened to many other performances of this piece on youtube lately...and I can say without a doubt that your version is the best! even, dare I say, better than vladimir ashkenazy! I hope you go far in your musical career.

    :)

  • Wearing a tanktop and beanie while playing classical piano. Awesome.

  • sorry for my english it's my third language, hehe, i begun to play piano last week and i hope then i will can play like you one day! Chopin is my favorite piano artist :P see you!

  • Thanks! :)

    Practice is all you need.

    Peace, J

  • cortaste la segunda parte cierto?

well..i think that you need so much more practice..everything depends on how much you practice ..your technique isn't good..sorry..esfuerzate un poco mas..y no estes tan tenso al tocar..relaxx..

  • You are rather late with your criticism...LOL! I've evolved way past this stage...

  • wow you play so beautifully!

    i play the same number

but ive never gotten to the end

    its amazing, love it

    Cristina <3

  • Hey Cris,

Thanks for giving it a listen! :)

Would love to see your interpretation, as well!

    Peace,

    J

  • Great performance. I like your interpretation with somewhat delayed right hand in the beginning.

  • i like your punk-style look while you play this piece =P. i absolutely adore this nocturne.

  • Hehe, thanks :).

It is a very heartwarming piece indeed :P.

  • this is no song - its a nocturne. why is everybody calling everything song? would you also call a prelude or a requiem a song? sry, if that sounds rough, but I'm just tired of the word song everywhere ;)

  • Very nice. Im teaching myself this piece, on a keyboard thats as old as we are, its my first, i cant wait to get it down like you do and play it on a real piano :D

  • It's still quite fun to play stuff on keyboards as well...especially cause they have very sensitive keys...so you're forced to play really carefully...a very good practice!

  • This was the first piece by Chopin I heard as a child and I felt my soul being transported across the thresh-hold of his muse and so began my love affair for life with Chopin's music. I enjoyed your performance and look forward to hearing more of you.

    Phillip Wilcher (composer)

  • Kind playing...

  • You played my favorite Chopin Nocturne beautifully!

  • Aww, thank you sweetheart :)!

  • Awesome. =].

I'm a pianist myself,16 yrs old. I'm currently learning this piece, only started last night though, so it's not perfect yet. lol

Aiming to be finished by the end of this week though, how old are you, and what level? Also, how long have you been playing for?

    Anyways, good job.

  • Thank you!

Just cause you're 16 i will say a word of advice...don't rush it. Give it more than just a week...it has quite a few tricky bits that need thorough attention...but only if perfection is your goal ;).

    I'm 22...played the piano for 11 years.

  • You feel the music! I love this piece, too.

  • Thank you :). But my teacher says feeling isn't enough...for the sake of professionality i'd have to synchronize the left and right hand for starters and also play the left hand more lyrically...what do you think?

  • I do agree, those are good suggestions.

  • Get a digital piano :)

  • You've got a great sound going here, very nice. I love this piece! -- (Ravel synthesizer guy)

  • Very fine sensitivity with a singing tone! You have an affinity for lyricism! -

  • Thank you!

  • Driven by passion, directed by talent! ;-)

    great expression of Chopin Nocturne.

    happy holidays, mich

  • Your passion is inspiring!

  • yours too! can't wait to be inspired a little bit more. ;-)

    ciao ciao

  • You've got talent, keep on. Nice Chopin.

  • Thank you very much!
