As a linguist and head teacher of the University of Languages I didn't know that being cool means perversion and lack of tact and taste. In fact, this video is for people of refined style and culture. Anyway...
I want to express my gratitude for support my daughter got from this video for her exam. Thanx so much!!!
How many times have I watched this video...hm...one hundred? two hundred times?...) To say that it is gorgeous is to say nothing... The music itself, your gestures, the way You enjoy it...all taken together impress greatly! I want to return more and more and more... And is there a need to say once again that it is sexy?...)) The piece is the thing everyone should learn to play before he dies! Thank You very much!!!!
Very heartfelt, When I heard this song I instantly knew it was something I had to play. How long have you been playing the piano? I really enjoy listening to your recording, it helps me learn the piece better.
I'm really struggling with the runs in this piece, so I occasionally listen to it online to get my courage up. Your vid helps! I think that people call this a "song" because of its intense lyricism. It's just such an inward-looking night tune that people can't help but call it a song--after all, Chopin could be pretty high and mighty, imposing all those trills on us! This piece is a true "song"--it makes you close your eyes and dream--so we overuse the word.
thanks again for the upload. I've listened to many other performances of this piece on youtube lately...and I can say without a doubt that your version is the best! even, dare I say, better than vladimir ashkenazy! I hope you go far in your musical career.
sorry for my english it's my third language, hehe, i begun to play piano last week and i hope then i will can play like you one day! Chopin is my favorite piano artist :P see you!
well..i think that you need so much more practice..everything depends on how much you practice ..your technique isn't good..sorry..esfuerzate un poco mas..y no estes tan tenso al tocar..relaxx..
this is no song - its a nocturne. why is everybody calling everything song? would you also call a prelude or a requiem a song? sry, if that sounds rough, but I'm just tired of the word song everywhere ;)
Very nice. Im teaching myself this piece, on a keyboard thats as old as we are, its my first, i cant wait to get it down like you do and play it on a real piano :D
It's still quite fun to play stuff on keyboards as well...especially cause they have very sensitive keys...so you're forced to play really carefully...a very good practice!
This was the first piece by Chopin I heard as a child and I felt my soul being transported across the thresh-hold of his muse and so began my love affair for life with Chopin's music. I enjoyed your performance and look forward to hearing more of you.
Just cause you're 16 i will say a word of advice...don't rush it. Give it more than just a week...it has quite a few tricky bits that need thorough attention...but only if perfection is your goal ;).
Thank you :). But my teacher says feeling isn't enough...for the sake of professionality i'd have to synchronize the left and right hand for starters and also play the left hand more lyrically...what do you think?
wow, beautiful. do you learn at a music school? it is beautifully played, very special.

For a film I'm making for school I'm looking
for videos of people who are playing
Chopin - Nocturne in B flat minor, op.9 n°1.
I already found some on YouTube but I'm looking
for some more vids. If you are interested,
please leave a videoresponse to my only video on my account.

I'm a pianist myself,16 yrs old. I'm currently learning this piece, only started last night though, so it's not perfect yet. lol
Aiming to be finished by the end of this week though, how old are you, and what level? Also, how long have you been playing for?
Anyways, good job.
