Mortal Kombat is my favorite fighting game franchise, but Killer Instinct's not too far behind (2nd favorite).

How about all Mortal Kombat fighters & all Killer Instinct fighters team up against all Street Fighter fighters.

I like both Sf and KI, but I wish that Rare would get the sand out of their vaginas and make another Killer Instinct. Then I would have SSF4 and KI3. Or at least do a crossover game with Street fighter, similar to how SF is doing with Tekken. They could make two games; one that runs off of KI mechanics, and one that runs off of SF mechanics. Improvisation will be taken, but I think that it could be done.

Why do you think they had SOOOO many crossovers. Cause their franchise was shit and they needed the characters from other franchises to encourage peoople to buy the games. @151329 Yeah if it's Mugen & there is/are a Street Fighter/Street Fighters involved, then 9 out of 10 the Street Fighter/Street Fighters is/are gonna win.

I sometimes would think that it was because Street Fighters were cheap, but it's mostly a matter of strength vs speed I learned.

Get 2 Street Fighters to go up against (what I consider) a deadly alliance of Motaro (4-legged Centaur form whose invincible to projectiles) & Eyedol (2-headed monster who can heal himself).

@ShikaoK I often said that Killer Instinct contains the best of both (the Mortal Kombat & Street Fighter) worlds.

Like Street Fighter, there are 6 attack buttons (3 punch, 3 kick) & you're confined to 1 specific stage to face every fighter not just bosses.

Like Mortal Kombat, there is blood, gore, (fighter & various arena) finishers & even powerful monster bosses.

I grew up with MK (got into SF & KI later on) that's why it's my favorite. KI comes in 2nd (not too far behind MK).

Nothing can surpass the awesomeness of KI experienced when you Bust out a nice 30 hit combo on your opponent sending them flying into orbit, and when they finally land, hearing that incredibly satisfying... "ULTRAAA... ULTRAAA... ULTRAAA" Best fighting game of its time in my opinion, hands down.

I like killer instinct, but while it is less of a novelty title than the Mortal Kombats, it's still nothing you could build a whole tournament around. Street fighter is by far the best fighter there is on so many levels. May not be able to do 50 hit combos, but the combo possibilities are next to infinite. No other fighting title has the same character balance either. SF FTW!

It's funny how in these mods the Killer Instinct characters are smaller and rarely use any of their power moves and especially their insane combos.

None of the other Capcom or Midway fighting games have the visual and audio impact that the original KI does.
