Cadillacs (CTS, STS) are so angular these days, and for some awful reason, Mercedes has taken the E-Class in that direction, too. The coupe and cabriolet are by far the worst!

don´t buy this 500 version now wait for the new family of 3rd gen direct injection engines called MOVE. The specs are 4.6l 435 hp vs 5.5l 388hp co2 emissions 224g vs 260g for this version. then the other new engine is a 5.5l replacing the 6.3l amg 544 vs 525 hp and co2 244 vs 295

These guys push these cars to their absolute limits and then have the nerve to complain when it doesn't perform up to their "standards" Like the slalom test. Who the hell would drive their $60k luxury sedan like that? It's .5 seconds slower to 60 than a comparably equipped BMW. Hmm...a half a second isn't exactly asking a lot of a driver's patience. The braking distance hasn't improved over last year's test. But last year they said it was one of the best in it's class. Never satisfied.

My dad got a '10 E350 with P2 package, driver assist, sport pkg, dynamic seat, leather, and panoramic roof with a few other minor options. There's really no point in getting an S Class unless you really need the rear seat room in my opinion. Honestly when I drive my dad's, I get more looks than the kids in their S550s (Probably b/c they've never seen the new E yet but still)

Question. We has a 2009 C-300 Sport for 3 days while our 2001 E-320 was being serviced. While driving I noticed that there is no longer a kick-down function. Nor does the gas peddle have the same feel. It's like to peddle doesn't go down as far as the one on our E. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this new peddle just on the C or is it on all the MB models. Only ask because we a planning on ordering our 2011 E-350 or E-350 Bluetech come Oct. 2010, our family tradition to get a new E every 10yrs.
