hello congratulations on the remote design, I try to connect my scanner to the rear connector to the PC serial and bctool program but not work, you'll know the reason the serial port has a special pinout? 73's YY2JE.
I would also be interested in buying/building one of these, ideally to mount on my dash above my steering wheel so I won't have to look away from the road when a call comes in. Alternately, I could try an off-the-windshield HUD, but that would require a mirror-image readout.
the rear connector for serial GPS will only and not for communication by the pc?
