People keep going on about the fact that Iwelumo may've been offside. That doesn't mitigate his howler one iota.  A striker should consider himself onside until the ref/linesman tells him otherwise. Put the ball in the net and hold the inquest afterwards. But in your heart of hearts you already know this.

Im a Rangers fan and I go to all the Scotland games (home and away). Boyd would have been to lazy to run to the back post so he would have probably not scored. It was a howler but he played well as did Fletcher, gave us another dimension I have not seen for a long time. Have you ever asked yourself why Boyd does not get a regular game with club or nation? Could it be his attitude in training etc? Just a thought.

Boyd has scored something like 74 in 85 starts for Rangers. Its unbelieveable that people say he is lazy. He is a striker and he scores goals which is his job. Ally Mcoist made a living out of it and has gave Boyd some major pointers.

And plus, we shouldnt be saying "Boyd would have scored it" Anyone should have fuckin scored it. Nerves got to him on his debut.
