I disagree about all land being depleted. Most of our food we eat is grown on land that has produced a crop nearly every year for the last century or so draining the soil of nutrients.I think a fresh patch of farmland propperly incorperated with naturally mulched would be decent.
You are stupid cow you eatin grass like tomatos because worms don eat it. Why is immpossible maked carrots witchout chemistry why you needed genetics mixed?? You are sick!!
@losik01 WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT........IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT SHE'S SAYING THEN STOP TUNING IN...DON'T JUST COME AROUND TO CALL NAMES...THERE ARE MANY OTHER CHANNELS ON YOUTUBE FOR YOU TO GO AND HANG OUT THERE...MAYBE SOMETHING MORE SUITED TO YOUR TYPE OF THINKING...JUST SAY GOODBYE!
May god bless Mrdeadly and Penn/teller bullshit (whoever they are- I am sure they have no idea). Change to organic now for your own family's safety. Don't say no one warned you.
@MrDeadly25 There is not a single study in the Penn and Teller BS videos on organic. Penn and Teller are magicians their job is to trick you!!! The video made statements like "a cup of coffee has a 1000 times more cancer risk than a years worth of pesticides". Coffee reduces cancer risk of almost every cancer and does so by an average of 30%. Show me a study that says pesticides reduce cancer by 30,000%!!!! I can link dozens of peer reviewed studies showing that show is full of BS.
@HotnessTim "reviews of multiple studies show that organic varieties do provide significantly greater levels of vitamin C, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus than non-organic varieties of the same foods. While being higher in these nutrients, they are also significantly lower in nitrates and pesticide residues.""organic foods typically provide greater levels of a number of important antioxidant phytochemicals (anthocyanins, flavonoids, and carotenoids)." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/203592 65
@HotnessTim "Organic crops contain a significantly higher amount of certain antioxidants (vitamin C, polyphenols and flavonoids) and minerals, as well as have higher dry matter content than conventional ones.""there is a lower level of pesticide residues, nitrate and some heavy metal contaminations in organic crops compared to conventional ones." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/172977 55
@HotnessTim "For individual nutrients, existing studies show that organic fertilization practices produce crops with higher levels of ascorbic acid, lower levels of nitrate, and improved protein quality compared with conventionally grown crops.""Animal studies showed better growth and reproduction in animals fed organically grown feed compared with those fed conventionally grown feed." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/943902 1
@HotnessTim "A review of existing literature reveals that organic foods compared to conventionally produced foods seem to have a higher content of antioxidants in plant products and a higher content of fat-soluble vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids in animal products. Animal studies (among them, on rabbits and chickens) show higher fertility and less morbidity in animals fed organically" ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/151951 59
@HotnessTim "A short review of such experiments shows that the majority of these tests revealed effects of the organically produced feed on health parameters such as reproductive performance and immune responses."" The science-based results suggest positive influences from organic feeds" ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/203550 28 "Ecological food is tastier and contains more essential amino-acids, vitamin C, and micro-nutriments than usual food" ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/166101 89
This video is ignorance spewed directly through the screen. "Like... like, it's poison, like." I bet you have no clue that organic farmers use pesticides as well, but due to them being organic, they can't use any artificially produced pesticides, which have been developed to be safe nowadays. This essentially means that organic farmers use pesticides that are _more_ poisonous than non-organic farmers.
Also please pick 3 billion people to starve. Because if everyone goes organic, that will happen
@1337kimozabi Synthetic pesticides are NOT generally safer. Half of both natural and synthetic pesticides are carcinogens and there is an equally long list of health problems for both. However, organic food generally has significantly less pesticide residue because organic uses less pesticides(and in many cases no pesticide is used) and more biological pest control like crop rotation, crop cover, predatory insects etc. than conventional.
@1337kimozabi Here are some links to studies suggesting organic can feed the world, would benefit poor countries more than conventional and GM crops. There are plenty more studies as well. srfood.org/images/stories/pdf/ press_releases/20110308_agr oecology-report-pr_en.pdf
Gotta love the laymen bashover Anytime someone releases a word that people don't know into the world, the world doesn't bother to learn what it really means. "Organic" just means it has a chemical structure that follows one of a few scientific rules. One of them? It has carbon and hydrogen. Like propane. That's all organic, bwahaha. Oh, and carbs too. They're organic. Proteins, like snake venom. Great pesticide :D Organic is cool. Seriously. Learn to really learn, think for yourself.
Exactly. All living things on Earth are technically 'organic', it's just that pseudoscience loves to take scientific words like 'organic', 'quantum', etc. and attach unscientific meanings to the words to make them sound important or appealing.
I suspect a lot of farmers are selling organic food knowing full well it's a marketing fad simply because it lets them make more money. Can't blame them, as farmers don't make terribly much.
lol, listen to ppl who are educated in the subject. Listening to hippies who sell 10 day juice fastning program (u will likely loose muscles) and "natural" anti acne products is not a good idea.
These videos are backed by scientists (Including a Nobel Piece Prize winner) about Organic Foods. Not gonna say if it's for or against organic foods, but do yourself a favor and enlighten yourself with facts before choosing how you spend your money.
I have a problem. I'm going off to college in about a week and since I'm going to be living in a dorm, I basically can't eat any more organic food. I'll be basically forced to eat the school's unhealthy and crap that is non-organic food. I don't know what to do. I WANT TO EAT MY ORGANIC FOOD. But I'll only be able to eat stuff that doesn't need to be refrigerated or cooked. It's like my freedom is being taken away from me. What should I do?

You are completely right. I eat as much as organic fruit and vegetables as possible. It is higher in nutrients, it tastes better, and you feel good. Thanks for making this video.

"organic" just means "using no technology"
We've discovered how to make SAFER, cheaper, and more effective fertilizers, insecticides, etc. over years of hard work.
The food people like RawRadiantHealth are trying to hawk is overpriced, less nutritious bullshit.
