the encinal show is normally the night before the vallejo classic show, isn't it? i don't think solano's ever done a friday night show...plus, it's a lot cheaper to do a "home" show.

you guys kick my middle schools drumlines butts! i hate the chipman drumline, it got annoying so i quit and no one knew how to do anything and all the lil elementary kids wanting to join and then they join and they sit there and do nothing for 4 months strait >:(

Wow, and you guys are a middle school?! That's awesome, the only thing is that the marching needs some work. Some people were off step at points and there was some dirt here and there. Keep up the awesome job you guys are doing. I love your front line. It sounds very clean. Encourage these kids to join DCI.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH! It was their first competition, too! I've taught this middle school for 4 years now, and that was the best line we built up. I marched in this middle school's percussion line 9 years ago, too...and I find it very rewarding that the skill level is a lot higher than from when I marched. Practiced only two to three days a week, and started in September...

When i was still in VSCUSD, vallejo ms and hs always won the mayor's trophy @ the Vallejo band festival. Man was i happy when vallejo hs got a 5 pt. penalty in 05 and bethel grabbed it. now im just waiting for hogan to get back on its feet, and id love to see franklin get the mayors trophy too (though with dickey, that'll never happen). thus i root for solano...

oh yah im in college now and i attended franklin for middle school. I had never been in their dumline, but wanted to, thats why i joined hogans once i reached high school. I left franklin in 01 so i barely remember the mj show. ah...memories. anyway, i hope to teach at franklin someday (band director). It's high time to brign the vallejo middel schools back to their former glory.
