I actually love that they made Irene into a big bad villain. After all, we really didn't know much about her when she was first on the show, and everything we've learned afterwards was not flattering. She slept with her best friend's father -- more than once. She lied to her daughter about who her father was and kept the identity of one, later two, sons from everyone. She was even lurking around when Victor Lord Sr. died in 1976 and was a prime suspect in his murder for a time.

@CoressMorell And there are many, MANY questions concerning this. For starters, Tina is about 10 years older than Todd and Victor, Jr. So, wouldn't Tina have remembered her mother being pregnant? Also, since Irene claims that she raised Victor from an infant, wasn't Tina there also? And since Dr. Jim Craig and Dr. Larry both treated her, would they not have known she was faking? None of this makes any sense. No wonder they are canceling this show.

Was anybody in on it with her, like Dr. Jim Craig because surely he would have been able to tell she was faking. Also, I must say that I like Roger Howarth's portrayal of Todd this time around. Normally I can't stand Todd, but his Todd is funny and actually sincere without being mean or a pain in the ass. And I LOVE crazy Irene! LOL

@Cearalovejoy Yes, both Larry AND Jim, were both wonderful, capable and smart doctors. So, how would they miss something like this? Unless she was given a drug to simulate symptoms, I don't know. TSJ's was way too MEAN! That turned me off. I never liked him yelling at Viki for no reason, really the only person who IMMEDIATELY forgives his misdeeds. Alex is coming back as Cutter's mother? (and I guess skank Kim's too, then huh LOL) Interesting ...

@dereka79 I could not stand TSJ as todd he was a good actor but as Todd I did not like him. He was very nasty to viki at times. He was not to nice to viki during the whole tess thing this time around either. So far thats just a rumor that she may be his mom but she is coming back. I know I want to strangle Natalie and Brody for what they are doing to Jessica. Brody is a loser I never liked him with Jessica and I never liked the character.

@Cearalovejoy That really pissed me off that TSJ's Todd didn't bother to inform Viki of Tess's existence. She QUICKLY (and foolishly) forgave him, but kicked Tina out of town! I was not happy about that. I actually haven't been an Alex fan since she was truly crazy. I didn't like how they wrote her as being cartoonish and silly. I liked evil Alex much, much better. Though I like Nat, she does not think about how her romantic liaisons could affect other people.

@dereka79 I think the reason viki is more partial to todd is because Tina has done some really nasty things to viki in the past. She tried to take Llanfair away from viki with the help of mitch laurence, then she conspired with David Vickers when he was pretending to be Irene Manning and Victors son jr. However I do not like how viki forgives todd well victor rather for all of the misdeeds and shame he has brung to the lord name.

@Cearalovejoy True, but Viki always forgave her in the past. And Todd once upon a time held his own sister hostage along with about 13 others!! At least Tina never did that LOL I say if Viki is gonna be forgiving to one, she should forgive all and not play faves.

@dereka79 I think that it is the dumb writers who are making viki this way the bias for the mannings is pathetic. Truthfully I never liked the rapist turned decent citizen storyline with todd manning. Like when Lee halpern returned todd walked all over her, the old lee from back in the day would have told todd to bring it on. The writers made me dislike the character and not in a way where you are disliking them and still want to see what they are going to do next.

@Cearalovejoy Roger Howarth himself said he never liked the rapist turned decent citizen!! He never wanted to play that story and was quite vehement about it. Oh and the Lee thing PISSED ME OFF! I watched Lee in action back in the day, and that biotch was NOBODY to (BLEEP) with. The old Lee would have wiped the floor with BOTH "Todds"!

@dereka79 Jessica is going to say to something to Natalie about it. I read the spoilers , Echo could have had a better storyline. I wanted Echo to turn out to be viki's long lost sister from an affair Eugenia Lord had with someone else.. Making her Rex's mother is horrible he has no chemistry with her. Roxy should be Rex's mom and Mitch Laurence should be his dad. Making Rex a buke was a mistake, it has no chemistry its flat.

@Cearalovejoy I actually grew to like Brody, but this is too much with him keeping Liam's paternity a secret. It's out of character for him. Now Jessica knows and it looks like she won't be saying anything either. Enough already!! Please let John know this is his baby!!! So, now Dr. Behari knew (but she's dead) and Marty (MIA). Victor Jr. (dead). Nat CAN'T friggin' remember (which is dumb). Brody knows and now Jessica. Llanview is just full of liars and vindictive people.

@dereka79 I used to love Alex when she was more of a bitch and a villain. Then in order to redeem her they made her into a comic relief much like they did to David Vickers, because when DV first arrived on the scene he was smooth, calculating and very manipulative. I miss Dorian but I do not like how they wrote for the character, Dorian was no wuss or whimp and they kind of cartooned her to. They also messed up echo's return, they should have never made her rex's mom no connection.

@Cearalovejoy Some redemptions toward the comic relief work and others don't. Lucy on GH really worked quite well. Lynn Herring is a fantastic actress, because also underneath Lucy's change to comedy was real depth and warmth. I don't see that in Alex or David Vickers. They are just silly all the time and it is annoying. Omigod! I hated how they wrote Dorian in the last several years!! She used to a bitch on wheels but no more. And don't get me started on Echo and Rex.

@dereka79 I loved lucy coe on Gh her character had depth and she had real material to work with. OLTL does not know how to write for good characters anymore, they had a gold mind when they brought back Gabrielle Medina back in 2001. What did they do reformed her and then killed her off what bullshit!!! Then to show how bias they were toward the mannings they let gabrielle be bullied by Blair of all people. Old Gabby would have kicked Blairs ass.

@Cearalovejoy For me on GH it became "I Love Lucy - Coe" LOL She became the character that eventually truly tried to do the right thing even if it got her in trouble. the turning point for me was when she agreed to carry Dominique and Scott's baby -- the little girl we know as Serena. I think it was the first time she was actually selfless, and it was quite the tearjerker since Dom was dying. GH USED to be able to write touching stories like that. And don't get me started on Gabby!

@Cearalovejoy Gabby Medina is another example of a waste of a great character. And Blair, just like Carly on GH, is just a loud mouth ho! Blair should worry about her kids (I mean look at the state they are in now -- Jack a murderer, Starr teen mother and now in jail, and Sam just plain weird -- no offense but is he all there?) instead of spreading her old legs! Yes, Gabby would have kicked her ass and sent her packing! But TPTB RUINED her, too!

Blair has potential to be a bitch but those stupid ass writers do not write for her properly. So now Tina and Cord are going to get back together and then leave the show then what??? @Cearalovejoy I wish they would bring back Mimi, Becky Lee (but not the Becky Lee they brought back in 1996 -- she was a liar and a thief), Delilah, Carla, Ed, the O'Neill girls (incl. Didi though she is dead), Karen, Pat (though Jacquie Courtney is dead), etc. They should have kept Irene on just a bit longer. She was crazeeeee and kept things going. There should have been more Viki/Irene confrontation scenes.

@Cearalovejoy For as popular as people think they are, the ratings for the show actually have gone downhill to nearly the bottom with them being front and center. One could argue that they had nothing to do with it, but I am saying this based on THEIR popularity. IE if they were so damn good for the show, why does the show still suck?? They messed up not allowing Viki to remain front and center!!!

@dereka79 I wonder who these people are who they call the fans who love Todd and Blair so much??? The storylines that they have been involved in have been weak, insipid and boring. They are supporting characters who were forced down our throats as leads. I like Blair but she is not a leading lady her character should have never been put in the same caliber as viki, dorian or even Gabrielle or tina. Todd should have never become a lord either.

She had mystery and depth. Kassie's Blair is annoying. she (and Tea both) try to be so tough and so smart and so bitchy and sassy, but my thing is if they are all of the above, then why the HELL do they keep falling for a LOSER like Todd Manning/Victor Lord, Jr.??? @dereka79 They also messed up when they killed off Luna Moody. Luna brought a certain element to the show that had never been there before with her mysticism, and beliefs in goddesses and so forth. She was an excellent supporting character. Other god characters that they refuse to write good stories for was Lee Halpern, Renee, Lindsay.

@Cearalovejoy I LOVED Luna! That accent always made me laugh (reminds me of where I come from -- LOL -- NC) So down to earth and real and honest, and she brought us the New Age. LOL They just ruined and eventually killed off Lee, which made me so mad. And they ruined Renee, too. I mean, Renee, who??? Because we never see the Divine Miss Divine anymore. So much potential story for her, and they blew it. Lindsay NEEDS to come back. Actually she is. But she should NEVER have left.

@Cearalovejoy I'm glad they kept Echo, but Echo does need a bit more to do. Kim Zimmer is an amazing actress, and they really should have kept the Viki/Echo feud going. I WANTED MORE FLASHBACKS! I thought surely they would at least show Echo going over that bridge back in '83, and I was very disappointed with that.

Tina and Cord only got maybe 2 or 3 flashbacks, and I was like this isn't fair. And I don't care one way or the other for a Michael and Marcie return. And the whole thing with "Stacey" with Gigi's face is just plain dumb. I really wish they would let that die, no pun intended.

Blair's character was better when she was unmarried and without kids. Sorry but Starr is boring to me I will give credit where its due those scenes where she brole todd out of jail were phenomenal. Why did they turn Starr into a goody two shoes she would have made a good villainess.

@Cearalovejoy Oh, and I have NEVER liked Starr! From the moment she first came on the show I hated her! She was too much of a brat (and so UGLY)!  I'm sorry I know she's a child but she just looked like a little demon. A precocious child is one thing, but a mean, little hateful witch is another. I'm actually glad she grew out of that to be somewhat "sensible" (except for the teen pregnancy thing). Though the jail break thing was kinda cool.
