  • Notice how everybody screaming for a Kurdistan actually lives outside of Kurdistan. I wonder how the people of "Kurdistan" are doing lately with an oppressive regime in the form of family tribes running the country.

The situation will eventually erupt into a revolution there as well. Too much corruption, too much oppression and too much nepotism. You cannot build a modern nation having tribal families running the show.

  • @yeniceri1015 I notice that you have very little knowledge about what is happening in Kurdistan. Firstly the media is censured in e.g. Turkey, so the Turks in e.g. Istanbul never truly sees what is happening in the Kurdish part (north Kurdistan). I guess you are referring to the Barzani tribe? It's not "Kurdistan" and it's not a country - get your mind right. It's Kurdistan (or south Kurdistan to be correct), and it's a autonomy. And yes there are problems in the region - but seriously...

  • @yeniceri1015 ... but seriously like there is now problem in the region otherwise? Can you mention ONE....just ONE arab state that truly function? Iran is perfect? Turkey is perfect? Please these leaders are the children of this fucked up region.... By the way have you been to south Kurdistan? It's actually pretty good... don't forget they lived under dictatorship ever since "Iraq" was created!!! Genocide, ethnocide and so on... Where are you from?

  • I think this is a song from the Democratic party of Kurdistan Iran ;\

    Anyway - Great song ;)

  • @Bokan995 Agree! Great song, but it is not a party song... Qadir Dilan is involved in one way or the other... one of his friends is singing this one though...

  • @sirwanaa

That's strange - they mention Reber Qazi. Maybe this was sung during the Mahabad Republic?

  • @Bokan995 Hum... true.. I will ask my father - he might know. However, many of (all?) Qadir Dîlans songs (if Dîlan is invloved) are poetry - mostly by Goran, e.g. Ciwanî benaw that I have in my videos... So maybe this is also a poetry during this time or honouring Qazi Mihemmed??

  • @Bokan995 My father agree that Qazi means Qazi Mihemmed, however it is not a political-party song but about our stryggle, caş, and so on....

My father and mother also said the poetry is probably quite new and basically said old Kurdish songs was hardly sung or played like this one.

Besides Mahabad was in 1945-46... When İ listen to Kurdish songs from the period it had bad quality. This song has pretty good Q so it must be much newer... perhaps the 70s or 80s....

  • Her biji Kurdistan!

    Gelek supas jibo gorani ;)
