  • If I had a son, I would want him to be a Morehouse man and graduate! Wonderful video!

  • Quadricus... LOL!! Dude use to have me dying laughing.. He was a character for real.. However, any one remember the Packard Scholars from the c/o 2005 class?? Those were my homies.... Shouts out to UB3.... But as we all know DuBois hall was the most entertaining place to live... EVER!! And is Dr.Lutenbacher still around??

  • Everytime i watch this I am reminded of why i should finished with this class...these boys are all doing it big. Demond Drummer running campaigns Baraki is a politican and tht fool Q. Bernard Driskell...as only he can do it...one of the best classes of our generation, though i finished 08.

  • Morehouse College should not be about cultivating men but cultivating only black men. Morehouse College should accept only black men to become its students.

Also, the Morehouse College faculty should be only black men.

Morehouse College should not be advertised or presented as a mens college but as The Black Man's College.

  • Why?

  • @mgainey1 well in my opinion i agree with articulaytor, because the Black Man has been attacked, ridiculed, emasculated, humiliated for such a long time that he needs "his own institution" where other educated, intellectual, intelligent black males can uplift their fellow black brothers to a point where they can defend themselves against America's bias opinions, stereotypes, and other lies about them.

  • @articulaytor WHY?

  • Impressive Indeed brothers, my school never ceases to amaze me, class of '94,

  • ps...Quadricus is a damn fool and always has been...I remember seein that fool freshman year...he was wearing a damn kilt with some saddle shoes and that damn pink panther hat with the sweater vest and bow tie...a damn fool lol...

  • C/O 2005 we did it big...what was our slogan..."Class of 2005, we're kind of a big deal..." I miss that place, without it, I wouldn't have M.D. behind my name this coming May

  • naz...was that on the news? I'm sure the news media would not have missed that....

  • excellent video gentlemen.

  • Morehouse College is where i hope to be at one year from now. I love that Morehouse men break the negative stereotype that has a face on young African-American males. Morehouse men show a picture of dignity, class, high morals and conduct standards, intelligence, success, and most of all a faith in God.

  • Wow. I love this you guys really did a good job on this video. I have been aspired to attend Spelman even more because of it.

i know that this is about Morehouse but hey Morehouse & Spelman are very similar for great reasons.

  • Bakari Sellers! Didn't he get elected in SC or something?

  • I want to be apart of this man!!!

  • I thank God everyday for allowing me to attend Morehouse.

If I never need to be humbled, I think of of my college experience

    c/0 99

  • Although I didn't finish @ Morehouse (would have been C/O 2005), IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Although, I wish they had architecture, it gave me the confidence that I needed when I went on to finish my degree in Architecture @ U of H..... Watching some of my friends on this film makes me kind of emotional....

  • At this moment, I am bursting with nostalgia and great pride. It has been a long while since I have been back or even thought of my time at the House (c/o 97). This video was nicely done. Thank you.

  • "Papa was a rolling stone, wherever he laid his hat was his home, and when he died, all he left was THE HOUSE". 100% proud Maroon Tiger, class of '08. "Morehouse, do not let God repent for creating you"- Howard Washington Thurmond.

  • Good job on this video brother. I represent the class of 2011, and I hope to fulfill the Morehouse Legacy.

  • I have applied to Morehouse recently. I have been wanting to go to this school since I was young. I am patiently waiting their response. The one guy said It was his destiny to attend Morehouse and that's the reason why he was born. He had the only real answer I believe. He's not alone in that statement. SO AM I!

  • The brother who commented about developing a sense of commitment to the Black community is right on and appears to be a defining characteristic of going to Da House in particular and HBCU in gen. Definitely reminds me of back in the day (c/o 90') and is a great representation of the school. It could be used as a promo video.

  • Of course not. Like I said, It's good to see them doing something positive. Oh, and thanks for the random knowledge.

  • Its good to see Our Brothers doin' something positive w/ their lives.

  • Congratulations to the graduates of all classes. It's good to see our men doing something positive with their lives.

  • Same here (class of '98) But get rid of the clown who said he couldn't get into anywhere else. We are the number 1 school for black people (over any non black school in existence!) and that guy says "I couldn't get in anywhere else"??!?

  • depends where he applied to for school

  • Regardless of where he applied, he could have gotten into other schools, like CAU or Morris Brown. Whether or not he applied is on him, not his ability.

  • yeah, but is a law saying if i apply to morehouse i have to apply to all of the other colleges of the auc (which basically have pretty much the same standard and you can cross-register courses)? and that i cant apply to ivy leagues because im BLACK?

  • um do not talk about demond drummer he was just playing and he mentors a lot of young people in chicago so he is doing the right thing now.

  • Not bad guys. Makes me harken back to my days at the House. (class of '93"
