I was reading an article in my local newspaper about a small community of residents who removed rubbish / old mattresses etc from a peice of land in their area & in a joint effort cleaned up the area, only later to be issued a summons from the local council for not having a license or permission from them to remove rubbish. This is BIG Government for you ! This form of EU fascism is creeping into our communities at every level at an alarming rate & we must stand up to it, together. ;-)

Herr Schultz is a fine example of a social-democrat, they`re democratic till the point that democracy will intervene with they`re plans. They will keep on going till they reach the end of the dead-end road they took us in, no matter what the costs will be for the hard working taxpayers. And I wish Mr Farage and all brave MEP`s who are voicing the people`s opinion in the EP strength and luck, cause this Herr Schultz will do all within his power to silence you as voice of the people of the EU.

I just read an article here in Finland on my local newspaper in which our social-democrats were criticised for being unable to help unemployed people get jobs and being unable to activate people who've decided to stay unemployed. The unemployment benefits are too good and the 'stick' is missing, there is a carrot but no stick. And the social-democratic party refuses to negotiate on this major issue that hurts our economy massively.

@TheHeinz64 Furthermore, it is the social-democratic party which represents most of the people in labour unions here, and the labour unions are VERY inflexible, and even outright hostile towards anyone who suggests there should be change. As an example of that, a Presidential Candidate recently suggested bigger sanctions for the labour unions for ILLEGAL strikes, and two labour union bosses harshly attacked him and made it out like he had unfairly attacked working class people.
