@butlerblimp I wouldn't say 'lots' of people still play online, but a few do, but this game has an amazing campaign and can be enjoyed more offline than online-in my oponion. Im not actually that sure about the LAN thing, its not my kind of area, but im sure someone might, try googling it or just ask around-someone is bound to know. Hope I helped :)

you really can have more then that, the game only warns you that if you have more then 4000, it can be laggy. but that won't happen if you have a little bit good pc

Be careful though, only do this if you are gonna use it with the cinema editor, this will cause your computer to lagg to hell. I dont think it was meant for normal gameplay only to make promotional videos of it

What are your pc specs?

The actual steps are, run regedit.exe, go to local machine, go to software, go to sega, go to medieval 2 total war, one click on medieval 2 total war and on the right there should be a cd-key, if you have found it but there is no cd-key, then you have to create your own, alfa numeric value by right clicking and choosing that option, the you double click on it and type in your cd-key in caps and separating with dashes. also if you have pirate game private message me.

your dual-core und your RAM is perfect for this game, but your GeForce could be too slow for maximum details. But with deactivated shodows it should work und maybe you shoult buy a Geforce 9800GT for ca 100€ or less

last night i was outnumbered by 2 whole armies, 1 was Saladin's army & another Egyptian army & i had an almost full army with Gerard as General. So while Saladin was infront of me , the other egyptian army was closing in from behind, so rather than being defeated by 2 armies at once i rushed towards saladin, outflanked him & killed him, then i rallied my men & defeated the other aswell, its awesome :)
