  • why is the second one supposed to be creepy? its just a tone being played over and over, is that the whole thing? doesnt make sense.

  • good job stealing from cracked

  • David Letterman

  • its funny lol

  • the first one HAHAHAHAHA

  • The last two clips were from Numbers station used by Spys.

  • It's the DUKE! 1:02

  • Maybe #3 is music for aliens and they play it for the aliens living on Earth.

  • for the backward music station

  • What the number of the station? is in fm or am?

  • I remember watching max headroom... no wonder i'm all fucked up

  • Oh look, an obsessed cracked fan made an article. How cute.

  • dude these are ripped straight from Crackeds 'the 5 creepiest unexplained broadcasts' article.

  • The Max Headroom one has always puzzled me- the perpetrator would have to have had access to microwave equipment worth tens of thousands of dollars and knew he could only broadcast once or twice for a brief period of time in order to show... That.

  • @lgh122 Seems like a bit of anarchistic fun. I love how subjective it is, people call it creepy - when it's seemingly just a guy in a mask being a bit of a goof. But put it somewhere people don't expect, don't know about it and it suddenly becomes much more sinister.

  • Good American family fun!

  • What make the Max Headroom incident so disturbing?

  • uvb-76 is no longer transmitting, by the way. i believe it stopped some time last year, after broadcasting for nearly 20 years...

  • @dieselboy87 ...so does that mean the cold war is FINALLY OVER?!

    Yay! :D

  • @dieselboy87 actually... it's totally still broadcasting.

  • Wow, the Max Headroom hijack is positively brilliant!

  • wat the fuck

  • That was probably more entertaining than any actual Max Headroom episodes.

  • My theory on UVB-76: Some Russian dudes said "hey, I bet this would really fuck with people."

  • @scrumpadooshus They bet right!

  • Jacob Nelson was behind The Wyoming incident.

  • HOLY FUCKIN SHIT IT'S A DINOSAUR HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

  • *people at home*

"Huh, this is a weird episode of Doctor Who"

  • I wanna know what frequency is the UVB-76

  • @Randomario its a russian numbers station in a small town about 40miles north of moscow. the town is a military run town and when you look at the cordnates where the station triangulates to theres just a small shack and a radio tower. but you can see vents in the surronding area , which leads people to believe theres an underground bunker there. People dont really know what its for exactly. The most convincing idea ive heard is that it sends the signal to silos and if it goes out they launch

  • @r1ck13579 It's more than likely part of Dead Hand/Perimeter, but the Russians will never admit that. The actual mechanism of that system is that if a nuclear detonation is detected inside of Russia, the system will send a signal to all nuclear facilities in the country via control rockets, and if that signal isn't responded to with the proper abort codes, all nukes are launched simultaneously at various targets across the globe.

  • @Thatevilmidget Exactly! UVB-76 is apparently not a "numbers station" for supporting spy operations (because it almost never sends out number messages), and it was very well built in its old location with large underground facilities, so it must be very important to them. Probably the buzzing is the neutral tone to tell silo stations that the system is functional but the situation is normal. Presumably they must have automated sensors to detect nuclear detonations and modify the signal.

  • @SphinctersForever Agreed. An idle signal would make sense for something like that, because if a nuclear weapon hit the country, it would likely damage or destroy everything above ground, and there's always the risk of a direct impact on the station itself. Therefore, it would only be logical to put a signal in there that would trigger the system if it was disrupted or destroyed. The "numbers" might even simply be the abort codes entered during a drill to test that the system is still working.

  • @Thatevilmidget And isn't it interesting (not coincidental, of course) that it is/was just far enough from Moscow (a perceived target) to be outside most of the immediate blast radius but not so far as to have trouble detecting nuclear explosions there? It now is apparently farther north, but then sensors and technology are vastly better now, so it could probably still do its Dead Hand job well. I just can't see how it could be anything else.

  • @SphinctersForever Well with it farther north it also gets a nice blanket effect and probably covers additional high possibility targets in the general vicinity of Moscow that the older installation didn't touch.

  • Max Headroom sucked.

  • You forgot Captain Midnight!

  • Theory: Number 2 is just some guy in his basement, farting, forever.

  • It's "Oh my PILES", not "Oh my files"!

  • I come here just to watch the Jurassic Cat every now and then

  • The original Rick Roll!

    Or maybe it's Turk 182?

  • this is how the reptilian overlords keep us at a low vibration so we dont spiritually evolve like we should, this is one form of manipulation among many, im referring to the 3rd and last broadcast in the video

  • @Stoogemeister420

  • @termin107 the wyoming incident is fake and the candle cove episode was not a hijack but a real episode of candle cove.

  • @oshilzl yes but it wasnt supposed to air, thats the point.

  • @termin107 the candle cove episode? i thought it was suppose to air....

  • He stole CBS.

    Deal with it.

  • @TheStickKid

    I still see the X

  • @comacityresistance The X is his best friend.

  • According to one of the many theories, UVB-76 is related to USSR/Russian nuclear defense system.

  • Max Headroom had me loling like crazy!

  • UVB 76 is a Russian trucker whose CB radio is stuck on and keeps bangin' his head on the steering wheel!

  • @totalrandomcrap

  • God, imagine if somebody broke into WGN-TV nowadays and did that.

    HEADS WOULD ROLL.

  • @shaw7man funny how when O'Reilly did CNN he got rickrolled. Not internet rickrolled REAL LIFE Rickrolled.

  • Years ago I heard a backwards station. I figured out it was Radio Peking (now Beijing) in, I think Russian. The giveaway was the interval signal "The East Is Red" backwards before sign off. This was in the late 70s or early 80s. Can't remember the frequency. Might've been something weird in between 6 & 7 mHz or 8 mHz.

  • where can i listen to a livestream of teh backwards station?

  • I just made a giant masterpiece in my pants.

  • first one is awesome

  • The fact that he interrupted a Doctor Who episode makes it even worse.

  • The "Backwards Music Station" really is just two military transcievers working in a feedback loop, with one transceiver picking up the audio of another and rebroadcasting it; if there is nobody talking the feedback builds into the weird squeal we hear in this video. The website hfunderground has an entry on this station under "XM", it's number station code, though it is also called the "Whales" station.

  • I once saw something like this.

It looked like an advert, 2009 leading up to christmas (december), everynow and then randomly this man would come on, every few seconds breaking up in static chanting 'ITS COMING!'

  • UVB-76 IS JUST A METEOROLOGIC STATION WITH DOPLER RESEARCH

    Look here: elpub.wdcb.ru/journals/rjes/v10/2007ES000227/2.shtml

  • Stop panicking, everyone! UVB-76 is just a go-between proxy that operators in Russia use to send messages to other operators. The Backwards Music Station may well be electromagnetic interference. Max Headroom on the other hand...a twisted hacker with a weird sense of humour? Oh, and he was never caught. Sweet dreams.

  • wow this guy is fucktarded

  • UVB-76 actually made a transmission on the 23rd and 25th of August, 2010. So it's been going on for near 50 years that we know of, nonstop. Scary Russians.

  • I remember ages ago, if u use to go over 108.0 on an FM radio, it world make strange noises.

  • the buzzing scared me D:

  • the last sounds like ULF whistlers made by the ionosphere being hit with radiation

  • #3...wow

  • Comment removed

  • the Max Headroom guy seems like a giant troll of the olden days if you ask me

  • were have u been baby comeback!!!

  • The max headroom guy was the first anon

  • @brenchtoast44 DO I SMELL BACON LOVER?

  • Oh my god, it's live sound in a room? UVB-76? I think that's the creepiest thing about it... So, something out there is making that noise... Someone is recording it; and broadcasting it. Frightening.

I love numbers stations. They are so, so creepy. Mysterious.

  • The buzzer is hooked up to the base's break room, and monitor the status of the base commander's cupcakes in the mini-fridge. When the buzzer stops, it means someone has taken one of the cupcakes.

  • Not that Im saying this is right or wrong, but Ive heard from a nasa scientist that aliens communicate in abstract, continous, sometimes melodic sound emissions, almost exactly like the last one.

  • Comment removed

  • The dude who did that max headroom thing on here is a hero.. couse he actually had the balls and managed to pull off something like this xD

  • That backwards raido...it's bone chilling...

  • Is there any way I can listen to the UVB signal live?

  • @Dontholdback747 uk3-pn mixstream net 8026 m3u it's a live stream. paste it into your vlc.

  • @Dontholdback747 yea buy a shortwave radio and tune to 4625 khz. However I read that it is no longer broadcasting or goes on and off

  • UVB is just an auto troll

  • lol this video has 9001 views :D

  • UVB-76 is from the DUGA 3 installation in the zone of alleination, Russia

  • @class303001 Missed. This is not Duga 3 - it sounds totally different. Check the "Russian Woodpecker". Besides, an equipment like Duga 3 is so obsolete that there completely no reason for using it.

  • Also, one time on UVB-76 once was heard the song Moskau. Just little part of it and very quiet compared to the buzzing

  • lol The person who filmed that guy at #1 was drunk and dizzy.

  • Nice way to copy shit from Cracked.com

  • max headroom= pre-4chan trolling

    uvb=dead hand

    backwards music/ walesong = NATO's crappy radios

  • Okay the Max Headroom vid just gave me a serious boner at the end.

    Who's the chick?

  • one of my friends said the code of the UVB-76 is "hail satan" o_o

  • The Max Headroom video is more strange than freaky.

The UVB-76 sends chills down my spine. I don't know what it is, but it's incredibly creepy.

Now, the Backwards Music Station wants to make me throw a blanket over myself. It seriously freaks the crap out of me.

  • MAX HEADROOM HIJACKING WAS CASUED BY A FREAKIN LIBERAL lolwut

UVB-76 is just some russian number station

Backwards Radio Station is just random shit.

  • i dont get the UVB-76 one, can anyone explain what the message was there?

  • the last one for some reason reminds me of Giygas, from Earthbound.
