Mazda 3 with Mazdaspeed Intake and Exhaust Interior Sound

I was just wondering are MS parts better than other after-market parts when it comes to intakes

Almost all Mazda I see on YouTube has the check engine light on Lol. Saids alot about the quality of the engine. Beautiful car, but engine sucks

@allenychung Hey there just post the price you paid for your Intake. I would most likely go with MS CAI because it's just made specifically for these cars. I have a 2007 Mazda 6 GT S sports, 79000Km. But the warranty is done and I'm upgrading because most likely I will not sell it.

I have this exact same setup of Mazdaspeed cold air intake (made by AEM), and the Mazdaspeed accessory exhaust (made by DC Sports). GREAT setup, Gains from intake probably give a lot more than from exhaust. A ROUGH estimate is about 4-6whp gain from intake and 2-4 whp from exhaust. Additional benefits are that the intake weighs at least half as much as the stock box, and the exhaust weighs at least half as much as the stock unit as well.

hey man. nice im about to get the exhaust and i already have the intake.. just wanna really know on a scale 1 -10 what do u grade the performance gain.!! i kno the sounds nice and all but i really just wan the perfomance..!!

I would have say about a 2 for performance gain, I couldn't feel it. =)

Thanks! Intake was $308 total, installed that myself. Exhaust was $537 plus $166 for deal install.

hmm... for me, it was worth it for the sound alone, but it does feel a little stronger, and might be getting slightly better fuel economy. a month later i still get excited whenever i start the car. so, it's up to you. =)

nice i ust bought my mazda3 hatch is it really worth to get the mazdaspeed exhaust cause i was looking at the corksport

Hmmm, from what I've heard and read, Corksport is a lot louder, I think cheaper too, I believe it sticks out more too. I wasn't going for loud, so pretty happy with the Mazdaspeed. =)
