Thankyou for your contribution. But there are more courteous ways of voicing your opinion. People have put time and effort into this and while yes we do take on constructive criticism, and you are allowed your opinion, please in future learn to be subtle in your remarks. While you may not favour this music, others might. I will agree that yes, this is not the best music in the world, but in insulting the music you have insulted the musician who played it as well. To each their own.
I know it does a little, I didn't want to leave it totally mute, and I had very little to choose from that wasn't copyright protected and people to help. I'll know for next time. Thanks for the advice.
I'd suggest a voice over and foley rather than the music, so that the viewer doesn't have to read the synopsis in the info spot on youtube. I think subtitles for when your characters were speaking would of been suitable too.
I suppose it's too late to adjust now as it's submitted for the competition, just that I know of another short film done with a voice over that wasn't that crash hot and I didn't want to fall into that trap, and I couldn't decide what point of view to speak from. I'm not making excuses, just explaining the method to my madness! Ya live, ya learn! Thanks for your thoughts though, it all helps :)
This is so many flavours of awesome I wanna save it locally on my iPad! :P
