Did very similar myself a few years ago. Multiple fractured wrist and two ribs gone. Always wear an approved helmet folks and ride within your limits ( I got the helmet part right at least )

I know this is 2 years old but I'm assuming you managed to hit it again later w/out falling?

That's also why I like running my suspension stiff (I'm running a 7" frame now, was rocking an 8" rig), I just did not feel comfortable with plushy coil forks when hitting a lip of a jump. Especially a lip that small in the video, I saw your bike pretty much just near bottomed when you hit the lip.

THAT'S where you went wrong. The last "one last run" I had broke my collar bone. That was 12 years ago and to this day I've never had a last run on bikes, snowboards or surfing.

I find it amazing that whatever law of the universe drills us into the ground on "last runs" hasn't figured out the "let's finish soon" and "two more runs" loophole yet.

My collarbone incident was the same too... just as I left the lip that "ah crap!" feeling popped up and the rest is history (and a lumpy, misshapen collarbone).

The bit that still makes me feel ill now, was I actually HEARD the bone break. A really sickening sound.

Still ride bikes though. "Old enough to know better."

Look bro nothing against you or your skills. You are probably a real stand up guy and I admire your guts and work ethics. My bad ,its just if ya take a look at the video and pause it you can see you prob would have made it if you didnt have front shocks. They compressed and it was that little bit that took you over the bars. I rode BMX 82-86 and was factory sponsered by Hutch. I rode mountain bikes from 96-2004 and gave it up due to injuries.
