  • They might have torn down the el, but NYC politicians have regretted the move since.

  • Thank you for this video. It brought back many happy memmories (although I'm not that old). I would ride the Marcy Ave EL in Brooklyn. There was no better way to go "sight seeing" for so little money as the EL! I actually got to get a rare ride in one of the old subway cars with my folks in the 70's.

  • If it was still around I would visit it as a turist.

  • video-Nice; audio-the old trains had whistles NOT horns and didn't sound like R44/46's....

  • Um, you do know that one of the pictures at the beginning of your film is a model, right?  I know the craftsman that built and operates it.

  • I can assume some of the sounds you did recording of trains on the Elevated lines in the Bronx or Brooklyn right?
