  • nice vid how much for 2 and were can you get them plz message me back thx

  • they are 65 bucks and he used 4 on that wheel if there is only one it will work but wont look as good.

  • 65 bucks

  • These ones aren't $2000, they're about $50-60, lots of bikers in the states use them, cops don't hassle them.

  • dumb shit

  • Hey! When I last checked the price, it WAS $2k, atm, it's $65... (The 2k price was on my friends website, who recommended me this video, so I thought that the price was 2k, I haven't checked if it is real or not...)

  • @lowertz

The lights in this video are a multi led-array that sells for $2k

The ones that cost $65 do not look nearly as bright or as good and contain less than 1/4 the LEDS of the $2k system.

I feel sorry for anyone who orders the M133s lights from monkeyelectric thinking they will get the same effect. Monkey electric advertises with a $2k system and does not make a clear distinction as to which lights you are seeing when they make videos or advertise.

  • @tranzadict

I think you may be confused. The lights in this video are several sets on the m133s on a single wheel. The Video Pro 7 is the 2k unit and it is quite clearly vastly different than the above video.

  • @lowertz 2k is the price for the stabilized 4 spoke led display... maybe he meant this ;)

  • @xKILLZONAx what ur face well ya ur face is but thers no reason 2 be ashamed of it

  • I invented this concept back in the summer of '84 but I couldn't afford the cost of a Patent ,got cheated ukno.

The prototype were battery powered Christmas tree LED lights, Very CHEAP.

The DOT of Most states won't allow them on the streets cause they distract drivers, If u use them u will be ticketed an ordered to remove 'em.

I suppose they could be used off-road out of sight of car drivers or in China.

  • I have owned these and have put several thousands miles on them. never had even the slightest hint they distract drivers.

  • awesome

  • very cool!

  • Cool the vid on pink bike is better thoe.

  • I could just see the kid down the street sticking his hand in the spokes...

  • I found the website and sent an email to be a beta tester, but I haven't heard anything back in a while. Do you know if he is still selling the kits or even doing beta testing?

  • LMFAO!!!

  • Hi rnech - we've had beta testers riding around the bay area since november and our first production units should be widely available in the next few weeks. Find out more at the Monkeylectric website

    -dan-

  • Thanks! I look forward to purchasing a set for my bike.

  • doesnt matter @ all -> ALL that matters is: WHERE CAN I GET THEM??? (for...lets say...not over 400$!^^) send me a PN -even if my imagination of the price wont... *cough* "match"!^^) PLEASE! (-> im old enough to say this, so i do it:) THIS shit kicks ASS!!! w00t!

    ZAP1970! please respond to me,PLZZZZ!

  • did u make those or buy them?

  • This video looks like it was taken at Maker Faire (May 2007 in San Mateo). I took a similar (but only 5-second-long) clip that Saturday. Try contacting Dan at Monkeyelectric LLC (sadly YouTube isn't allowing me to put the URL here).

Looks like he's saying near the end of the video that he's had it out for two years and the kit is/was available for $50 -- looks like there's no commercial product yet.

  • Oops, make that "Monkeylectric LLC"
