I got a kitten that was totally blind. He didn't realize it was a problem and did everything any other cat would do except jump up on things he couldn't reach with his paws if he stood up. He played with the other cats and had his own toy. He used his sense of smell and hearing. He was able to echo locate like a bat. He would chirp this funny sound and walk or run through the table and chair legs of the dining table. He also used his memory on stuff too. Cats adapt very well.j
I wish I could do something for her, if I adopted her, I would try to make a mini wheelchair for her, probably by customize those old fashioned rollerskate, some soft pillow for her bottom, a strap that I made sure is soft and not chaffing the skin, and loads of cat treats.

@jmorrowbel Not at all. It would change her center of gravity,and she's have to re-learn her balance. That, and she'd have less fur to lick, and that would be cruel.
@jmorrowbel If you look closely you see she uses her hind legs to get into her handstand walk, if you remove them she can't swing on to her front legs any more and you would actually limit her movement even more.
Most of the time you would have been correct though, most often such limbs get in the way but in this case she clearly still has a use for the hind legs.
They might also be helping her balance during the handstand walk but I can't judge that from the video.
Its similar to that pit-bull that had a birth defect and now walks on two legs... this can be inspiration not only to not give up on your animal, but also for humans - disfigurement or defect does not mean your life can not be fulfilled with the wonderful things that others enjoy! :3
I adopted one from the street, her tail is broken, it is probably a car that drove over her tail, and now her tail has grown into ONE bone, she cant move it, just the beginning of the tail. We named her Mercy ^_^ She is very cute, she's a kitty, she can do everything like a normal cat, but just her tail is broken (stiff) I really hope she'll get better.

Amazing little "bud". Can not keep that gal down. I am always moved by dogs, cats and humans that survive and thrive way past limitations. Like these guys and gals coming back with major injuries from the war to over come. This little kitty would be an amazing mascot at a VA rehab.
