It is IMPOSSIBLE to mount a JATO on a car in a way that would hold it's force, these things are mounted on reinforced hard points unlike anything on a civilian passenger vehicle, it would tear it apart on ignition.
Actually from wat I was told a real guy had a rocket n he was seriously a rocket scientist n he wanted to set a land record so he strapped a rocket to his car... The guy was a genious being able to pull dis off so for sure he knew he was guna die so he was jst doin it to experience going fast.... The downside to all this was dat he died instantly as soon as da rocket ignited all the torque n power broke his neck n he didn't feel shit... Da car took off the ground n crashed into a hill

the real story behind the rocket car is just as funny! this version is an urban myth...the real rocket car involved 4 teenagers a rail car, a rocket, a parachute and a disused gold mine..Oh and a scrap yard...Still a good story though!

If it weren't for the other car the JATO rocket would've run out of fuel while he was still on the road and he might've survived.
