This was a good attempt; the suggestions i have are to turn up the volume on the amp or guitar, turn the level on the tube screamer up to about 8 or 9, work on the vocals, and work on the bends, they need to be more precise and more of a vibrato.

thanks a lot for your comment! If i can remember, the settings on the amp were:
Bass: 10 Mid: 5 Treble: 7. For this particular song I was using an Ibanez TS9DX tubescreamer. I since have aquired a Maxon OD-9 which in my opinion sounds much better.
Hoever the settings on the tubescreamer were Gain: 9 Tone: 6 and Level at about 3.5
