Interesting, but I've heard this a million times. It's sad that this is not part of our national discourse/debate. Especially in an election. Just goes to show you how useless and similar our parties are. But...dealing with the problems in this doc would not be easy. Canada is doing well - and may continue to do so - thanks to natural resources and the real estate market.

If free trade was so bad for Canada, why are there so few unemployed in Canada compared to the rest of the world? Why did Canada seem to pull through this world wide financial disaster, that continues today - everywhere but Canada?

After watching this video, you get the impression Canada is in dire straights, instead of the reality that it s in great shape - comparatively.

@altclyti Canada is an irrelavent, British colony that is completely dependent on trade with the USA to sustain itself. About 89% of Canada’s land area is crown land. The majority of corporations in Canada are American owned. Canada's debt is 72% of the GDP. 80% of Canada's debt is owned by the USA. Canadians pay on average 24% more than Americans for their goods & services and that's excluding taxes. The average Canadian family spends close to half of its income on taxes. Canada is a nightmare!
