The 87-88 was the BETTER looking Maxima. This is when the Maxima's looks went downhill. Round cars SUCK... this Maxima looks like a Taurus.

アテーサを買って間もなくフライホイールのリコールで日産系の代­車不足でこのマキシマV6-3000を三日乗るはめに。

シングルカムだったと思いますが、軽量ボディに3000のトルク­は強烈でアテーサよりこのマキシマが欲しくなりました。FFのく­せよりもトルクでグイグイ走る車、という印象が強かったです。

yeah the 3rd gens are nice and retained that independent rear suspension, but I still think the 4th gens are the best, semi-independent torsion beam and all. But I'm an owner of a '97 SE, so I'm biased lol. The 4th gens have a much nicer interior though

great cars! i had a 1990 nissan maxima. now i got a 1998 nissan maxima se which i'm slowly hooking up. all u gotta do is take car of engine and da car will last 4 yrs
