I should have been more specific. It's not the size that counts but the ability, unless of course an invading army is so huge that they can win out by attrition. America beat Germany because of several reasons, but the number one reason was industrial might (we had 30 tanks to every one of theirs) and Germany's inability to create enough fuel and put healthy bodies in the field of battle. Germans are probably the smartest people on the planet, alongside the Scots.

@Greyswyndir Yeah, had Germany and America fought 1v1 at the start, Germany would probably win. One of the main reasons being of their Tiger tanks. Their armor was so thick, the American Sherman tanks were useless against them. It was only with Air superiority theat they were able to overpower their tanks

I thought our Shermans could take out a Tiger...but...It took like five or more Shermans to do it? I remember hearing American WWII veterans talking about how the shells the Sherman fired at the Tigers would bounce off like tennis balls. The only weak spot on a tiger was hitting it from behind, so that's why it took so many Sherman tanks to destroy one Tiger. I haven't heard much about our planes taking out Tigers, most of the stories I heard about was massive amounts of Shermans.
