  • @CNC

Thanks i was kinda leaning that way, i don't know a whole lot but that engine sounds surprisingly tame at idle for something with that much power. I'm sure you can't give camshaft specs but it definitely doesn't sound like its very big. Its pretty nasty though especially for a 2 barrel! Good Job

  • In our opinion yes, We try to stay away from the stock 400 blocks as much as possible. They have a laundry list of problems that can or will eventually occur. And yes, a good 400 block is getting very hard to come buy. We stopped buying 400 block cores when dart came out with the SHP block. If a customer comes to us wanting to build a 400 using a stock block, they need to provide us with a good core.

  • @CNC Do the 396 small blocks run better than the 406's or is it just harder to get the 400 block to hold the power??

  • it would be cool to have ran a 750 dp , or similar to see what it would have done

  • the torque curve is flat as texas ,,

  • It sounds like the cam is pretty small, and that must be a pretty good 350 2 barrel.
