really enjoy all the videos of Japan. I reside in Vegas, and want to go to Japan again for the second time. How do you travel along so well? I don't seem to get the motivation to go far alone. I handle alone time well, but just can't get motivated to get on a plane for 10 hours by myself. Like to hear some thoughts from someone who travels well alone.
@vegasdryheat I am used to being alone, and only feel truly free when I am alone; it is the essence of travel for me, the complete freedom to go wherever I want in a new place without the distractions a travel person brings with them, no matter how well meaning or compatible, I only ever feel like myself when I'm alone. But that's just me.
It is much more convenient to carry, shoot with, and talk to a camera you can hold in one hand. These are already pretty much DVD quality, which was pretty good for a small camera from that time.
I really enjoy your lovely and somewhat personal travel docs. But I must ask; you shoot them using a small digital still-camera, is this out of pure convenience or is it completely by choice; you don't want people to know that they are indeed being filmed? Because the only thing these films are lacking is image quality, I'd love to see them in widescreen and HD. Keep up the great work, makes me want to travel!
