The environments of Zork Nemesis are intoxicating... This by far, is one of the best Dark Adventure games I have played. I grew up with it as well.

My version of the game was obviously a watered down version, because that's not the death scene one sees when one plays my version of it. :/

I'm confused -- what death scene do you speak of?

Sorry I guess I was a bit vague there, I was referring to the little snippet we get when we look into the blood that fills in the middle of the altar. The scene that shows us the death of Kaine (at 2:23). (The same goes for the death of Sophia, my version doesn't show her neck being snapped or w/e happened to her.)
