COULD YOU PLEASE MAKE A DVD! I REALLY WANT TO LEARN MORE BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO GO TO SINGAPORE! THUMBS UP WHOEVER WANTS A TRAINING DVD!!! I'M SURE I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO WOULD GLADLY BUY YOUR DVD! PLEASE CONSIDER THIS. -A HUGE FAN
That was so helpful! Especially interesting to see the type of brushes you used and the way everything isn't super perfect. When I look at paintings like this I am automatically astounded at the level of detail...but in reality not everything in the painting is super detailed. That's why it's so attractive; definitely taking that bit of info with me into my painting endeavors. :D
Your tutorials or amazing. HD is great to see what your actually doing. I like when you explain your brush choices, layering options and color changes. It is much better than to just watch a video and spend a lot of time just trying to figure out what you are using.
Excelent advice, and beyod superb painting. I havent thought about how detail in a painting works until now , your eyes really cant focus in every detail . i will apply this advice in my future works, wish you had an online school im sure you would have hundreds or even thousands of artists interested. Thank you for this tutorials Feng.
hey feng, wicked work as always! i started following your work since i got the gnomon dvd 'fundamentals of shot design'- which still is easily one of the best tutorials i've seen- at least it really opened my eyes :) so thanks for that!
i noticed that when you open your brush menu, you have this collumn on the left with numbers as brushes- are these for clearly arragement purposes only or do they serve a special function?
also- that colorpicker looks awesome usefull- ist that the cs5 default?
thanks for the comments everyone. I used a Wacom Intuos 4 for this demo. But I also use the Intuos 3 as well. Both are good and there isn't much of a difference (especially if you don't use the side buttons like me).
you should really promote these videos more! or become a youtube partner or something! I feel like these videos are so awesome and so helpful that they should be shared with everyone!

Great video, Feng. Again, always interesting to hear the thought process along with the technical stuff. :) Much appreciated.

Thanks again for the great vid. I was hoping you could do a blending video. Blending with a hard brush is a problem for me. Thanks again!
