@JSasRays He was David long before he was Dexter. I have a difficult time seeing David as Dexter. MCH did a fantastic job in this series. I miss it dearly.
god i loved david so damn much. not exactly related but he (and his creator and his actor) gave me the first and most influential insight into the dark side of a gay mans life and ill be forever grateful for being a better person for that. i wish everybody would have been exposed to this tv show in their early teens.
@FelixRaDer85 But personally, i keep fighting constantly against things that bring me down, even though i know they're worthless. That's the beauty of that scene: the horrible experience David went through is perhaps the best way to realise what really is important.
@paulpeartsmith I completely agree. I loved this show so much that I travelled from Ohio to Los Angeles to see the real house that was the Fisher home in the series. It was beautiful and surreal, and I have some great photos to keep forever.
This show is my far teh greatest tv show ever invented. the flming is just perfect, the music si just pefect. teh characters and actors are just stunning! Love it.
thanks for posting this i was looking for this for a while Nate snr was such a good character! i will never forget when he was waving from the bus thatkilled him or when he cried in the kitchen when Ruth got remarried!
Such a great finale scene. Totally defines the theme of the show which they had alluded to in the past (on of my favorites was David's musical number while vacuuming, he says "You're alive! So come on and SHOW it!").

This is one of my two favourites quotes from Six Feet Under.
The other one is when "Nate" talks to Brenda in the elevator that "why not to be happy while we are here?"

Never seen a whole episode of Six Feet Under, but I wonder what it does to Michael to have worked so many years in two such death-oriented series.
